    Robert Lewandowski (8 mins)

Well played linesman! The now blonde Robert Lewandowski looks yards offside as he collects a flick on to score from close range but the officials got that spot on. He was onside.

It all came after a good driving run down the left from Franck Ribery.

Anti-discrimination group Fare have got observers within the CSKA Moscow fans - partly because of concerns over a potential clash with Spartak Moscow supporters, whose side face Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow. There's been nothing to worry them so far.

The CSKA lot have been seriously loud - and seem to have gone up a notch now Marcus Rashford has hit the post.

Luke Shaw has a shot on goal, from outside the box, after fine work from Romelu Lukaku who fired in a dangerous cross from the right wing. Shaw's shot is blocked and the chance is wasted.

    Chelsea 0-0 Atletico Madrid

First real chance of the night comes for the visitors as Fernando Torres shows nimble feet to spin away from a challenge inside the area and clip a deflected shot on to the roof of the net.

    Bayern Munich 0-0 PSG

Kylian Mbappe is so exciting to watch! The PSG forward breezes past David Alaba with ease and hits a low shot which is saved by Sven Ulreich. Made Alaba look like a 35-year-old veteran there.

  7. No anthem trouble at Stamford Bridgepublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Atletico Madrid

    Simon Stone

We had the usual anthem and handshake here.

This is a big night for Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The France midfielder cost £40m in the summer but has struggled in the Premier League so far and been on the bench for three of Chelsea's last four games.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORK - Marcus Rashfordpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

    Manchester United 0-0 CSKA Moscow

Almost a dream start for Manchester United. Romelu Lukaku releases Marcus Rashford, who is too fast for the CSKA Moscow defence and, on his left side, shoots across Igor Akinfeev.

It beats the Russian goalkeeper, but bounces off the foot of the post. So close to an opener.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

    Celtic 0-0 Anderlecht

First chance of the night and it's a good move from Anderlecht, Henry Onyekuru finding space on the left and teeing up Sven Kums - whose shot is saved by Craig Gordon!

Anderlecht need to win by three goals so that could have been big...

Lots of empty seats at Old Trafford. CSKA Moscow at home on a cold December night, with qualification almost certainly secured, has not caught the attentions of everyone.

Not your usual start to a Champions League game. Atletico pump a long ball forwards, Gary Cahill heads it away and the players immediately reject the matchball as too flat.

  12. A big week ahead for Unitedpublished at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

    Manchester United 0-0 CSKA Moscow

So it is a Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday, but first Manchester United must take care of business in the Champions League.

Only a four-goal defeat will deny them top spot in Group A, while an unthinkable seven-goal loss could see them miss out on a place in the last 16.

A couple of early goals, get the job done, rest some players before the City game, that's the hope for Jose Mourinho.

Romelu Lukaku will want to go into the weekend’s game with a couple of goals in his pocket tonight.

  18. Team newspublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

Chelsea v Atletico Madrid (19:45 GMT)

Chelsea make three changes from the side that beat Newcastle at the weekend, with Gary Cahill returning at the expense of Antonio Rudiger in defence and Tiemoue Bakayoko replacing Danny Drinkwater at the base of midfield.

Elsewhere Davide Zappacosta comes in for Marcos Alonso as wing-back.

Chelsea: Courtois: Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill; Moses, Fabregas, Kante, Bakayoko, Zappacosta; Hazard, Morata. Subs: Caballero, Rudiger, Alonso, Drinkwater, Pedro, Willian, Batshuayi.

Fernando Torres starts up front on his return to Stamford Bridge, alongside Antoine Griezmann in the Atletico attack.

Stefan Savic, formerly of Manchester City, returns to the starting line-up after missing the win over Roma through suspension. Filipe Luis - another Chelsea old boy - is also in the side.

Atletico Madrid: Oblak, Gimenez, Savic, Lucas, Filipe Luis, Koke, Thomas, Gabi, Saul, Torres, Griezmann. Subs: Miguel Moya, Godin, Carrasco, Correa, Vrsaljko, Vietto, Gameiro.

  19. Warm welcome for Torrespublished at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

    Chelsea v Atletico Madrid (19:45GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Stamford Bridge

Fernando Torres got a much better reception than Filipe Luis when his name was announced to the crowd just then.

Torres scored 45 goals in 172 appearances over three-and-a-half seasons with the Blues, which is more than £1m a goal given he cost £50m when Chelsea signed him from Liverpool.

Luis appeared 26 times in the 2014-15 campaign.

  20. Not now or never for Shaw - Mourinhopublished at 19:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2017

Manchester United v CSKA Moscow (19:45 GMT)

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been talking to BT Sport. He says: "The ones (players) we save are the ones we need to save. Nemanja Matic is injured, we have many others injured, the others that are available if they are not in the line-up they are on the bench.

"It is not about impressing, I don't want to put any pressure on to anyone. Luke Shaw plays and it is a good opportunity but it is not now or never and if you don't play well you don't get a second chance.

"They have conditions to play and hopefully the team is a team and does not focus on individuals who have a chance.

"Marcos (Rojo) is really tired, he was out for seven months, we thought to not play him in successive matches but it happened with no Jones and no Bailly and he played against Watford and Arsenal. He really needs a rest so he is not an option and we have to protect the player."
