Charlie Wetton: Arsenal being slated for winning 6-0 it seems. Only because the opposition were terrible. Liverpool won 7-0 last night. Note they are favourites to win the CL. All football fans exaggerate.

Tunde Paul: Very unusual emphatic win for Arsenal, you would expect they lose the next game (as a norm) once they lost a game. Character.

Mr Anderson: I am an Arsenal fan and to be honest regarding this whole Wilshere debate... Yes he had a great game but this opposition tonight with the greatest respect were quite terrible. Don't draw too much from this game. It's when he plays in the premiership and gets knocked about and stays on the ground for 10 seconds + which irritates me. Let's see how he copes in the Premier League games before making any judgments

We think this is a good place to leave the Wilshere debate for tonight...

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere: "It's a bit of a relief [that I scored]. It's one of those games - it didn't mean anything because we had topped the group. It's one of those games you need to be in the right mind - we enjoyed it. We're happy to go into the next round. All we can do when we get our opportunity is give the manager a headache."

Arsenal's Theo Walcott speaking to BT Sport: "The boss told us to enjoy ourselves. We played with a lot of freedom. Defensively we were solid. Obviously, it's nice to get all these goals.

"There is plenty of competition when you play for Arsenal. We are doing our best to give the manager a headache to pick us for the team. We were very professional tonight. We will see in time what's going to happen."

He Should Obviously Go: Jack has run the show in feisty conditions across eastern Europe this season, actually fairly decent preparation for Russia? #Livermoreout

Minhaz: Can't believe how much stick Arsenal are getting for WINNING 6-0! We had a simple job to win this match with our B-team. And those Wilshere haters clearly haven't watched him play in past matches where he's run the show.

Matt, Salford: Everyone throwing around big claims about whether Wilshere should or shouldn't go, why doesn't everyone calm down, long way to go before the summer, let's see if he actually throws out top performances consistently before we book his plane ticket, it's ridiculous because as of yet, he hasn't.

Ash Williams: Arsenal always perform in a game that means nothing. How often do they do it when it’s all on the line?

Chappy: When @LFC, external did it yesterday, no one criticised. Now @Arsenal, external is playing a second rate team

Ajay the Gooner: Currently 10-2 aggregate score so far. That's the same aggregate score against Bayern Munich last year. Perspective needed!
