  1. CLOSE!published at 35 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-2 Everton

Almost three! Kevin Mirallas runs at the defence, they back off, and he snakes a low shot wide from 20 yards. That had keeper Tasos Kissas beaten all ends up.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 32 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-2 Everton

The hosts are suddenly looking dangerous, and that's a great save from Joel! This time it's hit well from 20+ yards by Fotis Papoulis and Joel pushes it away, before Adrian Sardinero wastes a chance back post.

The hosts get a chance straight away after some hesitation in the Everton defence but Adrian Sardinero blazes over the bar. Scratch that, it was a good save in fact.

  5. Europa League latestpublished at 18:28 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2017

Dinamo Kiev need just a draw to top Group B. They lead 1-0 against Partizan Belgrade.

AC Milan are already through as Group D winners but trail to a Jakov Puljic goal at bottom club HNK Rijeka. He is not the Croatian club's keeper.

In Everton's group, Andrea Petagna's goal has given Atalanta a 1-0 lead over Lyon. The winner will be top.

    Ademola Lookman

    Woooosh!

Pick that one out! What a strike. Everton keep the ball for a long time, neat passing and possession which ends with Ademola Lookman unleashing a rising drive from 25 yards which fizzes into the top corner. Tasos Kissas could have maybe done better, but it was brilliantly struck.

    Apollon Limassol 0-1 Everton

Lovely touch from Fraser Hornby as Everton float a ball into his chest, he's a real target up there. He looks mobile enough too.

  8. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-1 Everton

There are around 1400 Everton fans who have made the trip tonight which is pretty extraordinary isn't it? Considering the context of the game.

They enjoyed that goal. They will be enjoying this performance so far. Kevin Mirallas almost nips through a gap.

    Ademola Lookman

There we go! It has been coming and Everton take a deserved lead. Lovely one-two between Nikola Vlasic and Kevin Mirallas, and when Vlasic chips a cross to the back post Ademola Lookman converts with an excellent header into the roof of the net!

  10. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Frustrating night so far for Ademola Lookman. He wasted that glorious early chance and has not been the best out wide since, either.

Easy to forget that he's only 20 still! He's younger than Henry Charsley, for example.

  11. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Actually not been a bad 15 minutes of football. Everton largely on top but they look a touch unsteady at the back.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 11 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Yes, that is a fine save! Henry Charsley unleashes a great curling effort from 22 yards, it's looping up into the top corner until Tasos Kissas goes full length to save.

Like Phil Foden last night, Charsley is more of a midfielder by trade but he's doing a job at left-back.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 9 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Good save, but Everton should be ahead! Ademola Lookman is played in on the left, he's clean through on goal and checks inside nicely past the last man. He's one-on-one but shows a lack of confidence perhaps, hesitating too long and Tasos Kissas is able to smother his eventual shot.

We may not know too much about some of this Everton side but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will play "quite an experienced team" against Bate Borisov, despite his side having already won Europa League Group H.

The Gunners have managed to qualify without using a number of regular first-team players in European games.

Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott have not started a Premier League match between them in 2017-18, but have played in Europa League ties.

"I have many players available who need competition," said Wenger.

  16. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Not only is Beni Baningime a youngster at the very start of his career, he's playing out of position tonight too. He's caught out of position at right-back and it ends with captain Fotis Papoulis curling a shot just over from the edge of the area.

  17. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

What a run that is! I've always been a fan of Kevin Mirallas which is not something the last few managers can probably say. He beats two, three players in a jagging run from right to left but eventually runs out of turf.

  18. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Apollon Limassol 0-0 Everton

Joel Robles has a young defence in front of him and probably needs to be more assertive than that, he comes to sweep up a ball through but goes with his feet and not hands, almost gifting a chance to Limassol. Cleared away in the end.
