    West Brom 1-0 Bournemouth

Former Leicester & Man Utd forward on Final Score

A typical West Brom goal, but not one Bournemouth defender jumps in the air to challenge the goalscorer. It's a great header in the end by Hegazi.

    Chelsea 0-1 Burnley

Burnley are doing a job on Chelsea at the moment. The hosts are trying to build attacks but the Clarets are quick to close down the space. First-class away performance at the moment.

    Ahmed Hegazi

On his debut! West Brom finally grab the lead they deserve and it's from a familiar source - a set piece. Chris Brunt with the hanging delivery from stage right, Ahmed Hegazi with the towering header that pings home between Asmir Begovic's legs.

That's the first home goal in five games for the Baggies.

In August, we all start again.

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Huddersfield

Crystal Palace fans are starting to get frustrated as Tom Ince almost gets through on goal to slot in a third for Huddersfield, but Joel Ward gets in a superb last-ditch challenge.

    Everton 0-0 Stoke

Everton have had most of the ball but it's still easy going for Stoke, all in comfortable areas.

Joe Allen goes in the book for a shirt-tug on Wayne Rooney as the Toffees look to pick up the pace. And Rooney then over-hits a pass looking for the galloping Sandro Ramirez.

    Steve Mounie (26 mins)

    Unbelievable scenes!

The Terriers are in dreamland, Crystal Palace stunned as the visitors add a quick second.

Once again Aaron Mooy is the architect, whipping in a perfect cross for Steve Mounie, who powers home a header.

You have to say that goal is not a surprise. Since the sending off Burnley have been the better team - they have not sat back and they realise this is a weakened Chelsea side.

Vokes didn't have to work too hard for that, just redirecting his header inside the post.

Right now you cannot see Chelsea getting back into this because they are not creating anything. Antonio Conte has not had a harder job managing Chelsea during a game than he has right now.

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Huge noise at the Hawthorns. The home fans sense a goal. Really good start from Tony Pulis' side. But still no goal.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:25 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Jay Rodriguez is having an absolute stormer. Everything West Brom do going forward, he is there right at the heart.

Here he picks up the ball on the edge of the box, turns to shoot and shapes a curling effort just wide of the far top corner. The Baggies are getting closer...

    Joel Ward OG

    Well then!

What a start to life in the Premier League for Huddersfield as they take the lead at Crystal Palace.

Aaron Mooy's corner is flicked on towards the far post by Cristopher Schindler and Joel Ward ends up diverting the ball into his own net.

  12. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 0-1 Burnleypublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Sam Vokes (24 mins)

Not the start to a title defence Chelsea fans will have expected as Burnley take a shock lead.

To be fair, Chelsea haven't settled since losing Gary Cahill and Sam Vokes' volley has too much for Thibaut Cortouis.

    Everton 0-0 Stoke

Idrissa Gueye musters Everton's first shot on target, but by the time it reaches Jack Butland's cupped hands all the pace is gone.

Bit of a slow start from the home side, but maybe they're just warming up yet?

  14. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield with a chance again as young midfielder Philip Billing shoots from distance. It's well hit, but Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey is behind it all the way.

  15. 'Rooney getting stuck in'published at 15:21 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Everton 0-0 Stoke

    Conor McNamara
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

Both teams have started with the in-vogue three-man central defence system Everton have Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the right wing-back position. He's normally an attacking player and has already been caught out a few times by Stoke's Erik Pieters overlapping on the visitors' left wing. Wayne Rooney was given a huge cheer when his name was read out over the loudspeakers at the start. The biggest cheer of all Everton's five new signings. Rooney is rolling his sleeves up and getting stuck in as well, his most meaningful contribution so far was a defensive diving header to clear away a Stoke corner.

  16. CHANCE!published at 15:21 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Swansea

The home side turn the screw again. This time it's Nathan Redmond who cuts back sharply, carving through the Swansea backline, for James Ward-Prowse in space inside the box.

He lines it up, but the shot is blocked, deflected wide by a brave Swansea back - Alfie Mawson's. He's looking good here.

  17. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Burnley

Antonio Conte has his heart in his mouth as Sam Vokes nods in. Thankfully for the Chelsea boss, the linesman has his flag raised for offside.

Chelsea up against it at the moment. They are struggling to settle after the loss of Gary Cahill.

  18. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Swansea

Ryan Bertrand throwing all kind of shapes down the left wing, he's all about the overlap. For the fourth time today he gets to the byeline, delivers a quality ball in, but Manolo (not Marco fellas) Gabbiadini can't beat Alfie Mawson to it.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:18 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Huddersfield

Half-a-chance for the visitors as Tom Ince, Huddersfield's most lively player so far, sends in a low cross for Steve Mounie but Scott Dann slides in just ahead of the striker to clear the danger.

No shots on target yet for the home side, who are yet to really settle.

  20. 'It was stupid, not malicious'published at 15:17 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Burnley

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger at Stamford Bridge for 5 live Sport

There was no doubt in my mind that as soon as I saw it that challenge deserved some colour of card. My gut? A strong yellow.

But Chelsea can't argue with that decision because he was out of control.

It was stupid, not malicious... and now I've seen a replay Gary Cahill has no argument - that is a straight red card.
