There’s only so many corners you can have to deal with and crosses into the box before eventually you will crack or the other side will have a stroke of luck.

Huddersfield only have themselves to blame. This isn't the Huddersfield I've seen in their games this season.

It was a huge slice of luck. The strike was going absolutely nowhere. It takes a huge deflection and loops over Jonas Lossl’s head. It’s not been a great display but at least West Ham have been asking a few questions. You can feel the relief as that goal went in.

Huddersfield respond to that goal by making a second change. Forward Abdelhamid Sabiri comes on for his debut, replacing Elias Kachunga.

The Terriers have 15 minutes to find an equaliser.

Scott Malone then stabs a cross behind at the other end to prevent Pablo Zabaleta from meeting it. Another West Ham corner, but Aaron Cresswell sends it too close to Jonas Lossl.

The boos are getting louder at the London Stadium as a stray West Ham pass runs through to Jonas Lossl in the Huddersfield goal. The unrest, you feel, will play into Huddersfield's hands and they have definitely stepped up a gear.

And it's Javier Hernandez, surprisingly, who makes way for Andre Ayew.

That's not a popular change with the West Ham fans, there's a few boos as the board goes up.

West Ham are about to make a change with Andre Ayew preparing to come on for the hosts.

Huddersfield are definitely becoming bit more adventurous as a smart Rajiv van la Parra break earns the Terriers their first corner of the game.

Aaron Mooy's delivery is cleared but Huddersfield pick up the ball again through Tom Ince, whose shot hits a defender, taking the sting out of it, and Joe Hart gathers.

Mathias Jorgensen shanks his attempted clearance from a West Ham cross behind his own goal. The Huddersfield defender smiles sheepishly, that could have gone anywhere.

I’m not sure even a draw will please West Ham fans. They’d expect to win this at home. Apart from the first 15 minutes, they haven’t looked like scoring. They’ve been too predictable with long balls to Andy Carroll.

Now West Ham come forward as Javier Hernandez knocks a cross down for Cheikhou Kouyate, who struggles to get the ball under control and ends up stabbing wide.

First shot on target for Huddersfield as Philip Billing, capable of scoring from distance, strikes one from 35 yards. It's low and hard but Joe Hart has it covered.

The Terriers creeping forward a bit more, though.
