A stray ball out of defence by Tommy Smith goes out of play. The Terriers are looking very unsettled at the moment.

Cheikhou Kouyate just threw himself to the floor. Tommy Smith is saying 'have a look at yourself'. Yes, there's contact but he's just thrown himself down. It's a joke really.

West Ham fans and players shout for a penalty as Cheikhou Kouyate tumbles inside the area. Referee Kevin Friend isn't interested and, from the replays, rightly so. Tommy Smith was behind Kouyate but the West Ham man went down far too easily.

The excellent Michail Antonio pops up on the right, spinning Chris Lowe to charge towards the box but his cross is put behind by Philip Billing for another West Ham corner.

Aaron Cresswell sends the ball in, aiming for Andy Carroll but a defender heads it behind.

Huddersfield under pressure.

Aaron Cresswell takes the free-kick and finds James Collins, but his header is straight at Jonas Lossl in the Huddersfield goal.

Michail Antonio knocks a ball forward down the left. Aaron Mooy has the yards on the West Ham forward but Antonio produces a burst of pace to get to the ball first. He is then caught by a Martin Jorgensen tackle. Yellow card for the Huddersfield defender and a free-kick for West Ham on the left side of the area...

Aaron Mooy has been the best player on the park. He’s composed, strong in the tackle, dictating things. He’s the one player trying to get the ball down and make things happen for his team.

It's a real joy to watch Huddersfield's Aaron Mooy. He's calm on the ball and always seems to find a team-mate, no matter how many players he has around him. The Australia international helps alleviate the pressure on his side's defence by moving the ball back into the West Ham half and keeping it there. The Terriers pass it about but no danger to Joe Hart's goal yet.

When you look at that West Ham front three - Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio - you've got to be confident that they will be nowhere near the relegation zone come May. Power and pace. The key is keeping them fit but it's certainly causing the Huddersfield defence plenty of problems in this game.

Chris Duckworth: On paper #WHUFC have a squad that should be nowhere near relegation. Bilic has to get them playing.

A quarter of an hour gone and West Ham fans will be happy with what they have seen so far from their side. Most of the play has been in the Huddersfield half and the Hammers have had the game's two best chances.

I think he’ll be very disappointed with that. It’s an opportunity he should stick in the back of the net. He had to get it up as there was a player sliding it but he has the ability to do that. Sticking the ball in the back of the net comes naturally to him. Michail Antonio did brilliantly down the right.

Should be 1-0 to West Ham!

Great strength and pace by Michail Antonio down the right as he shrugs off Chris Lowe to get to the edge of the area. The forward crosses and finds Javier Hernandez unmarked but the striker lifts his shot onto the bar.

Big chance.

Steve Mounie heads clear Aaron Creswell's corner. Ten minutes in and no shots on goal but West Ham have had the best chance, Cheikhou Kouyate just failing to meet Andy Carroll's early cross.

Huddersfield have got a couple of players of genuine quality. People will underestimate this team.

There was some nice play from Tom Ince. It’s an interesting year for him. He was highly sought after at Blackpool but he didn’t really get a chance to show that at Derby. There was talk of Inter Milan. This is his first proper taste of the Premier League.

Tom Ince shows neat footwork to get inside the area but his low cross is blocked by Winston Reid.

West Ham then work the ball back up the pitch as Javier Hernandez crosses for Andy Carroll and Chris Lowe, wary of the striker, heads behind for a West Ham corner.

Carroll is making this Huddersfield defence nervous.
