Get Involved - should there be manager sacking windows?published at 19:08 British Summer Time 15 September 2017

Chris: I disagree with Hughton, maybe a 90-day "honeymoon period" in which at least 10 competitive games are played. Manager windows would take away the excitement that we've seen in recent years, thinking of Sunderland's last six years in particular.

After Frank de Boer's dismissal at Crystal Palace just four games into the season, Brighton boss Chris Hughton thinks there should be a 'manager window', outside of which clubs cannot make changes in the dugout.

“It’s an interesting thought and one that I think deserves more consideration," he said.

This is how it looks at the bottom of the table.

West Ham's win against Huddersfield on Monday moved them off the bottom of the table.

That dropped Crystal Palace, who sacked Frank de Boer at the start of this week, to 20th however Bournemouth will go bottom if they lose tonight.

It's been teeming down and the forecast is it will continue until 19:00 BST but head groundsman Robin Wilcox is the coolest customer here - he says the pitch will be absolutely fine despite the downpour.

There's some straight talking from Eddie Howe in his programme notes tonight telling the fans that he takes "full responsibility" for a tough start to the season.

The bottom line is that apart from the 2-1 defeat at home by Manchester City, when they were beaten by a 97th-minute goal from Raheem Sterling, his team haven't come anywhere near the standards they have set themselves in their first two seasons in the Premier League.

That means the pressure is on tonight against a Brighton team who will surely bounce into Vitality Stadium off the back of their excellent 3-1 win against West Brom.

We've got full commentary of the match on BBC Radio 5 live with Jermaine Jenas as our expert summariser.

We're here, the weekend, and what better way to kick it all off with a bit of Friday night football under the lights?

Granted, Bournemouth versus Brighton isn't the sort of fixture that will get neutrals' pulses racing but there's enough about the game to offer promise of an entertaining encounter.

Bournemouth desperately need a win while Brighton will be brimming with confidence after recording their first ever Premier League victory last weekend.

Will the Seagulls soar again or is tonight the night the Cherries finally show some bite?

Four games into the new Premier League season and two teams are without a single point. One of those teams - Crystal Palace - have already sacked their manager.

For his impressive achievements at Bournemouth, Eddie Howe seemingly had a job for life but there's no such thing in the Premier League. The pressure is mounting.

Will the Cherries finally kick start their season tonight?
