I'd be very surprised if Jose Mournho doesn't turn to Rashford off the bench at any moment. For Liverpool, there aren't actually many attractive options - Sturridge perhaps, or maybe even Oxlade-Chamberlain.

David Thackeray: As a neutral may I say that Atkinson is being fair to both teams and is letting the game flow. Good to watch.

What a chance this is for Liverpool! A brilliant ball in behind the United defence and Can, from just six yards out, actually gets too good a contact on the ball. He just needs to flick it past De Gea, who wouldn't have been able to act.

A great run from Coutinho yet again, puts Firmino through but what terrific organisation from the United defence. They all stepped out in unison with arms raised and Firmino was well offside.

It was almost like the famous Arsenal back line of old!
