There were some raised eyebrows when Swansea City first made a bid to sign Renato Sanches on loan from Bayern Munich - and you can't blame some for their scepticism.
The 20-year-old, after all, was a part of Portugal's Euro 2016-winning squad and joined Bayern from Benfica for £27.5m just last year.
But Swansea head coach Paul Clement's connections have paid off. He worked with Sanches during his time as Bayern's assistant manager to Carlo Ancelotti, and his long-standing relationship with the Italian has proved immensely valuable with this eye-catching move.
