  1. Premier League movementspublished at 13:22 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

With Llorente in London, Swansea have had a bid accepted for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony. They are alsoclose to signing of Bayern Munich's attacking midfielder Renato Sanches on a season-long loan.

Arsenal could see another player leave, with rivals Manchester City having a £50m bid for Chile forward Alexis Sanchez rejected.

The Gunners want England winger Raheem Sterling as part of any deal, but Guardiola wants Sanchez as a straight purchase.

Guardiola is also interested in West Brom defender Jonny Evans and City have had two bids rejected for the Northern Ireland international, while the Baggies also rejected a £23m offer from Leicester.

  2. More to come?published at 13:19 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

Now that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's transfer has gone through on Thursday, let's take a look at which other high profile players could be on the move.

Over £1bn has already been spent by Premier League clubs in a record breaking summer, while Neymar joined Paris St-Germain for a world transfer record of £200m.

After missing out on Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chelsea will hope to sign England and Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who has asked to leave the Foxes.

The Premier League champions have also seen a £25m bid for England midfielder Ross Barkley rejected by Everton, but the 23-year-old could still leave the Toffees.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa's future is still unresolved. With the Spain international no longer in Antonio Conte's plans, he could still rejoin Atletico Madrid, despite the Londoners having previously demanded a fee Atletico 'can't get near', according to the player.

The Blues are still after Swansea's Fernando Llorente, but he appears to be having a medical at Tottenham.

  3. Oxlade-Chamberlain - good for Fantasy Football?published at 13:15 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Simon March
    Fantasy Football Champion

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move to Liverpool is a mixed bag from a Fantasy Football perspective. A key positive is that, unlike at Arsenal, he looks unlikely to be played in a wing back position under Klopp, potentially increasing his attacking potential. The Ox also seems more assured of starts and would, therefore, offer a cheap route into an all-action Liverpool midfield.

The key questions is whether he can really deliver as a fantasy football asset. His numbers are less than encouraging; nine goals and 19 assists in six seasons aren’t hugely inspiring returns (though it’s worth noting seven of those assists came last season) so Klopp will have to work some magic to make Oxlade-Chamberlain a genuine option for fantasy managers.

  4. Arsenal having a 'marepublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Arsenal

    Akhil Vyas, Arsenal Supporters' Trust:

    1. For Arsenal, it's turned into a bit of a 'mare! We are in serious danger of losing Alexis Sanchez with potentially no replacement. There's is a dilemma between internal or external disruption with Alexis.

This should have been resolved weeks ago.

    2. A good day now for Arsenal realistically would be either keep Alexis or sell but replace him with a Draxler type signing. But we fear we could up with no one coming in & Alexis going out which would be a huge blow.

  5. Vote resultpublished at 13:10 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

This morning we asked which player you believe is most likely to move today.

BBC Sport readers clearly think Alexis Sanchez's time at Arsenal is over with 32% of you saying his move away from the Gunners will happen in the next few hours.

  11. Ox deal and done?published at 12:58 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Ian Kennedy
    Reporter, BBC Radio Merseyside Sport

The arrival of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could well signal the end of Liverpool’s transfer business in terms of in-comings today (although you never know) – unlikely that Virgil Van Dijk will be moving to Anfield this time, so Jurgen Klopp has added Mo Salah, Dominic Solanke, Andy Robertson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and don’t forget Naby Keita for next season.

He’s clearly happy with his goalkeepers, and his centre backs although Van Dijk would have been a welcome addition. In terms of outgoings – could be some movement with Mamadou Sakho linked with Crystal Palace and West Brom – the futures of Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi the subject of speculation – so could be much going on at Anfield before 11pm.

  12. From 'one great club to another great club'published at 12:54 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain joins Liverpool

More from Jurgen Klopp on signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain...

“I hear a lot of talk about positions but let's talk about the player; he is someone with really good abilities who always gives everything for his team," said the Reds boss. "A player that is positive and willing to take risks to try and make positive things happen.

“He may still be young but he has a lot of experience in the Premier League, Champions League and for his country. Already he is a very, very good player and I think he has the mentality and desire to get even better - and that excites me.

“This is someone making a tough decision to leave one great club and come to another great club and I think he had many options, so to get him means I am delighted."

  13. Eagles in trouble if Benteke gets injuredpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Crystal Palace

Terence Ford, founder of RedNBlueArmy.co.uk, external:

With one fit striker, one centre-back that can pass as Frank de Boer requires and only two goalkeepers on the books, it is clear where Palace need to strengthen before the window closes.

After his heroic efforts on loan last season, Mamadou Sakho would be welcomed back at Selhurst Park, but with the Palace board taking on the role of sole torch holders of financial fair play rules, Liverpool’s £30m price tag will need to reduce. Reports suggest that Palace may turn their interests to Mangala at Man City (£23m), but this feels like a scare tactic to make Liverpool lower their asking price.

If Christian Benteke picks up an injury, then the Eagles are in big trouble. The problem is, who will sign for the Eagles knowing they will play second fiddle to the big Belgian? Janssen (Spurs), Tosun (Besiktas) and Niasse (Everton) have all been linked.

Between the sticks, Wayne Hennessey is now two seasons past his sell by date per most Palace fans and a ball playing goalkeeper is desperately needed to aid de Boer’s struggling playing style revolution - sorry, I mean evolution. Jeroen Zoet of PSV has been consistently linked with a move to South London, but the internet suggests he is as error prone as the Welshman he would replace. Adrian

Our activity in this window will be the difference between relegation and survival. I am more hopeful than confident that we will do what is needed.

  17. Aurier signing a divisive onepublished at 12:39 British Summer Time 31 August 2017

    Tottenham Hotspur

Nathan Clark from Spurs blog TalkingTottenhamTactics:

Serge Aurier’s signing makes a somewhat divisive one. Some are unhappy with comments, deemed homophobic, that Aurier has made in his past and are further unhappy with what the club signing the player represents. Worries about the players’ character go beyond the political. With a track record of questionable behaviour Aurier could potentially threaten to harm the positive mood in the Tottenham dressing room. Purely as a player though, all must agree, that few in world football could be a better replacement for Kyle Walker. Aurier has the pace, strength, stamina and ball-carrying skills that Walker used to stretch opposition defences wide for Pochettino’s Tottenham the past three seasons. In addition he boasts a wicked cross that is more akin to Kieran Trippier’s. He is also prone to a reckless tackle but that seems likely something that Pochettino can smooth over.

"This is a fresh start for me and I will do everything to make the Spurs fanbase, which is huge and diverse, proud of me. The fans are the most important people at any club and I am looking forward to showing them and everyone at Spurs the real Serge Aurier.”
