Rian Hoskins: Everton have had to completely change their system for they didn't sign a strong striker to properly replace Lukaku.

Mark: Give Koeman time! This instant gratification in football is getting ridiculous!

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman: "There are many players who need to stay at the same intensity in training and if they don't train well they won't play well. But there are exceptions, like Sergio Aguero who turn it on at game time."

Notts County manager Kevin Nolan: "Andy Carroll is a good example of someone who trains differnt to how he plays in games. He is around in games, 100mph, jumping into people in games but on a cold Monday morning on the training ground he has his hat on, huddling."

Meanwhile, the three players who combined for Arsenal's superb winner in Belgrade in midweek - Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud - all start on the bench for the Gunners at Goodison Park.

Arsene Wenger's 10 changes include a return to the starting XI for Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette.

Ben Turner: Arsenal the perfect opponent for Everton, we always lose to out-of-form teams and change their prospects for the season.

Mudiago Akpotor: The bulk of the blame rests with the Everton players, but you & I know that Koeman will be the fall guy eventually.

    MOTD2 Extra

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman: "It was the perfect time for Man United to come to town. They had a great start and the enthusiasm of being there carried them through. When United come to town it is a big opportunity to make history and they seized on that."

Notts County manager Kevin Nolan: "It shows how much it meant that David Wagner said it was one of his proudest moments.

"Huddersfield have set the stall out now. They have to stay at that level. If they do that they will find success. Wagner will not have had to get his players up for that game. I remember it when we got promoted with Bolton and beat Man United at Old Trafford. You remember everything you are told to do because you are so up for the game."

    Huddersfield 2-1 Man Utd

    MOTD2 Extra

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman: "As a player, you'd be upset that the manager did not keep that criticism in-house. You take it in the dressing room but you wouldn't want it in the press. You can see that Jose is hurt. It wasn't tactically why they lost, it was attitude. It is Jose Mourinho's responsibility to get the attitude spot on. Maybe he just expected their attitude to be great.

"Huddersfield were well up for the challenge and pressed Manchester United all over the pitch."

Notts County manager Kevin Nolan: "Mourinho was very angry with what happened. I'm sure he will have told the team what he was going to say on television. When you are as big as Man United and results come that way he has a duty to tell the truth. Herrera said the same. They are well rehearsed.

"Huddersfield was rocking before the game and the players were up for it. United's players have to realise what to expect. They have to take responsibility."

New York Times journalist Rory Smith: "It is OK Jose coming out and saying the attitude is wrong, but why was that the case? Is it because they thought it would be easy? I refuse to believe that. It is a weapon Jose Mourinho wants to use to get a response in the next game."
