Bold words from the Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino in the programme today as he talks about building on his team's excellent performance in Madrid on Tuesday.

"We are ambitious and have wider objectives, first to qualify from the group and then to keep improving to win things, both in Europe and domestically."

Tottenham's last major trophy was the League Cup in 2008, their last league title over 50 years ago back in 1961 and catching Manchester City this season looks like a very difficult task, but there's certainly confidence in the camp that they're on the right path.

Out of 10? I would give Everton three. I didn't understand what he was trying to do. There are kids out there not ready, players out of position. It can't go on.

We are sat here among some of the most passionate fans in the country and they look like they've been kicked in the stomach. It looks like everyone has had enough. I am struggling to think if I have seen a worse Premier League side this season. I think they are in trouble.

OK, enough is enough. Koeman has to go. Whatever his plan is....nobody else has any idea of what it might be. Decent players but a clueless leader.

    Steve T

Please sack him. Please. I know that it won’t solve everything but I really can’t see how we’ll improve under Koeman. .

If you are going to attack with the numbers Arsenal do you are going to leave space at the back. You are going to be vulnerable. But that is the choice they make.

    Make it stop!

Alexis Sanchez gets the ball on the left of the area and dribbles across to the right, he has FIVE men around him, Michael Keane is dumped on his backside, and Sanchez powers a shot across goal and into the final corner.

Bill Kenwright winces. He's not alone.

Why doesn't either of them just get the ball forward? Why doesn't Monreal put it forward and why doesn't Cech when he gets the ball? Why does everyone have to play? Just get rid. He got caught earlier in the game by Calvert-Lewin did Cech so why do it again?

    What a pointless goal.

Nacho Monreal plays a backpass to Petr Cech, he dawdles on the ball, Oumar Niasse tackles him and rolls the ball home.

    A waste of everyone's time.

One disgruntled Everton fan makes his feelings known as he makes his way out of the ground into the Merseyside sun. “Taxi For Koeman” he shouts. In fairness I think he’ll have his own driver.

Slaven Bilic may have a day out of the headlines tomorrow.

It is almost like people have come today and their expectation is nothing. Nobody is booing or giving Arsenal any stick. They are just taking it, like it is what it is.

This is Arsenal. Against the better sides they will be punished but on their day their style of play is brilliant. Nothing has changed your opinion of them.

    He deserved that.

Forget what I said about both teams settling for 3-1 as Aaron Ramsey gets a fourth. Jack Wilshere plays a through-ball, Michael Keane and Jonjoe Kenny do nothing at all to stop Ramsey and he clips the ball past Jordan Pickford.

Great strike. I am not his biggest fan but that was a really good effort. He has put some whip on it and power. Pickford had no idea where it was after it had struck the bar. It was so powerful it went up 40 yards before coming down.

It is a magnificent opportunity and he puts it just a fraction past the near post. Sanchez heads it straight and doesn't quite get the angle on his effort.
