Watford are making a mockery of my previous assumption that they were happy with a draw. They break at pace down the left as Richarlison (who else?) tries to dribble his way through the Chelsea defence. He almost succeeds as the home side hack clear.

Michy Batshuayi has offered more threat in 20 minutes than Alvaro Morata then did in the previous 61. The substitute rolls his marker, Drogba style, blasting a rising effort just wide.

Watford show their first sign of being content with a point. Off goes striker Troy Deeney, on comes midfielder Ben Watson. The shop shutters coming down?

Michy Batshuayi fancies his chances of bagging another. I'm not surprised - he likes playing against Watford. The Belgian has scored half of his six Premier League goals against the Hornets and has another pop from 20 yards, curling inches past Heurelho Gomes' left-hand post.

It's hard to see where this is going. It's quite open. Chelsea look a bit better now in this 4-4-2 but there's a lot of Chelsea players limping, including Gary Cahill and David Luiz - Watford might think they should put more pace out there.

Ooooh! What's Heurelho Gomes up to here? He lets the ball run past him towards his open goal with Michy Batshuayi in pursuit, then dives on the ball to avert the danger. I think he thought there was an offside flag raised. Oh, there was. But it arrived quite late.

Into the final 15... and Watford still look more likely to bag the next goal. Tom Cleverley's deflected shot flashes wide after Cesc Fabregas sticks his frame in the way.

Christian Kabasele escapes his marker at the far post to meet a free-kick into the Chelsea box, but his free header lacks power and is easily scooped up by Thibaut Courtois.

The home fans are virtually silent, apart from mutterings of discontent under their breath. It is still all Watford.
