Elmir: Sterling does everything in his power to keep Arsenal in the game.

JM: Sterling is a terrible terrible footballer. He’s nothing but a pace merchant. Awful.

Prince: City doing great at the moment but they're not there yet because you have Sterling who'll throw away big chances where it matters most.

Manchester City have scored 10 more goals than anybody else this season. That just shows how dominant they have been in the Premier League. Very impressive so far today. They've been bright and sharp on the ball, always making angles for one another. It's been outstanding.

Alexis Sanchez is fighting with everyone out there, friend or foe. He's an angry player at the best of times and he's getting very isolated. Some of City's play is excellent but Arsenal are playing like they've never seen a one-two before. Time and again they press and are picked off by a bit of give-and-go.

Arsenal have just got to be that little bit more resilient, they’ve got to think more, concentrate more.

A second goal is surely imminent. Sergio Aguero/Laurent Koscielny turn the ball against Petr Cech from point-blank range.

    Sold goalkeeping that.

I watched Scott Quigg in the boxing last night keep the tempo so high last night that his opponent simply caved in. It's the same as City are doing to teams at the moment by keeping the pressure so high that their opponents buckle. That's what is happening to Arsenal at the moment and they're struggling to keep pace.

Further proof that for all his talent Raheem Sterling is not the finished article as he completely flunks a wonderful opportunity. Admire the pass and move though as City pick Arsenal open 10 yards either side of halfway. A one-two cuts them in half and Kevin de Bruyne pops the ball in behind for Sterling to run in on goal.

He has Leroy Sane on his left, it's two-on-one. It has to be a goal - but Sterling's early pass is woeful.

Pep Guardiola throws his arms up in the air and slumps in his seat. Disgruntled of Eastlands.

Pep Guardiola has been an almost permanent presence in the Manchester City technical area so far.

The Catalan has been doing his now trademark manic pointing and gesturing to his players to rectify some minor defect he has detected.

In contrast, Arsene Wenger restricts himself to occasional visits to the touchline, usually to have a moan at referee Michael Oliver.

Dan: So shall we just give City the title now and start everyone off on next season's games?

Paul: People asked if he could, and it looks like he can! Pep looks certain to win the league via spending loads on a ready made team.

City press so effectively, hunting the ball back from Arsenal. David Silva wins it, then plays a one-two and moves into the area. Raheem Sterling pulls back for a cut-back but for once Silva's radar is off as he feeds it across the face of goal. Sterling could have had two tap-ins today already.

Where would Alexis Sanchez even fit into the City team? A nice problem to have. The hosts are dominant now, up to 67% of possession.

They are also eight points clear as it stands.

Alexis Sanchez knows he's in the shop window today. He's already strutting his stuff and wanting to put on a good performance. I'm sure many of these City fans wouldn't mind having him in a light blue shirt sometime soon.

If you are playing City it is a tough game no matter who you are, whether you are Leicester, Arsenal or Man United, you are going to get a tough afternoon because City more often than not have had the ball.

I think Arsenal have got their work cut out - In order for Arsenal to get anything today, every single one of their players have to play well.

Johnny Marr and Noel Gallagher are sitting next to each other, deep in conversation. Don't think Marr is having scissors as an instrument for a minute.

Arsenal play some neat stuff but the ball through for Mesut Ozil is overcooked.
