Sergio Aguero is handed a special blue boot by a relative of Eric Brook, he looks a bit sheepish in fact. Reluctant superstar?

Time for the England youngsters to get a mention now as Phil Foden, Joel Latibeaudiere and Curtis Anderson are applauded.

They all form a guard of honour for the sides, with Sergio Aguero set to be acclaimed even more than normal.

The presentation party is being formed on the City pitch ahead of a presentation to Sergio Aguero. I'm not sure exactly what the criteria is, maybe 'anyone who scored a goal' as Uwe Rosler is joined by Mike Sheron and Darius Vassell.

Spurs keeper Paulo Gazzaniga: "I knew last night that Michel (Vorm) was not too well so I started preparing then. I was nervous for about three seconds and then the players gave me lots of support. I'll take it step-by-step in trying to become Number 1 for Spurs."

Stereotype watch: The cameras pick out a group of lads in the City end wearing nothing but shirts, before finding a clutch of Arsenal fans each in at least three layers.

The same cameraman can find a topless Geordie in any ground in the UK.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham defender/midfielder Eric Dier: "We knew it would be difficult today with players missing but we wanted to keep the momentum going. Gazzaniga only found out he was playing this morning and then came in and did really well."

Son: "I think we deserved to win the game. It's great to get the three points ahead of the international break and we'll enjoy watching the rest of the football this afternoon."

Sam: Palace didn't deserve to lose this but chances just weren't taken, they just fluffed them up and couldn't close the deal.

Conor: Teams open up for Spurs in a way they would never against the traditional big sides. Has a massive influence.

It's not a slogan that will catch on but you get the drift of Eric Dier's point.

This is exactly what the doctor ordered for Spurs. Not totally convincing but a win all the same. They were dominant in the first half without creating much. When the game opened up in the second half, they took risks, their keeper made some good saves and then one fabulous bit of skill from Son later and they've got the three points.

Sule: I see what he is trying to do but that's a bad team selection from Wenger. I'm fearing a hammering now.

Mat: Did Wenger not watch the Europa League game on Thursday? Coquelin had his worst ever game for us, and that takes some doing!

Arsenal's line-up hasn't gone down very well with all of the fans it appears.

Son gives the ball away again, he's had a really sloppy game, and Palace can bring the ball away. Good play from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, glides past a man and finds Andros Townsend on his right. He powers into the area, hurdles a tackle and hits a low cross which is well hacked away!
