Skrrrraa, pa pa, ka ka ka.

More shots flying than a Roadman Shaq rap.

It is Tiemoue Bakayoko with the effort again for Chelsea, but this time his low strike deflects wide.

From the corner, David de Gea punches the ball clear.

    Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd

We thought it would be cagey, but it has been quite an entertaining start at Stamford Bridge.

Both sides are getting chances and this time it is for the hosts.

Davide Zappacosta gets forward and pulls the ball back to the blue-haired Tiemoue Bakayoko inside the box, but the Frenchman shanks a shot wide from around eight yards.

It's a really difficult game to call. Are we going to see the Chelsea that won the league last year or the team that capitulated in Rome this week? And which Manchester United are we going to see? A very interesting match ahead.

Manchester United have to win today. It's a positive team selection from Mourinho - Rashford and Lukaku are right up top with Mkhitaryan in behind.

Wayne Rooney pounces on the left, after being supplied by Tom Davies, but the striker is ruled offside as he darts into the box.

The Toffees look bright, at times. Davies especially.

There was no doubt in the referee's mind. He saw the push from Morata on Jones who clipped his heels as well. We've seen Jones lose his footing at times but that was a clear foul. Excellent decision from referee Anthony Taylor.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd

What a chance for Manchester United.

Ashley Young swings in a lovely cross to the back post for Marcus Rashford, who broke free of the offside trap.

It is slap bang onto his head, but Rashford is too mindful of Thibaut Courtois rushing out to clobber him and puts his effort onto the roof of the net.

The Belgian goalkeeper was nowhere near it, the United man should have scored.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd

    Chelsea take the lead.

A disaster for Manchester United defender Phil Jones, who volleys an absolute beauty of a finish past David de Gea into the top corner.

Hold on, it has been chalked off by referee Anthony Taylor.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata had given Jones a shove in the back and the Stamford Bridge faithful have their celebrations cut short.

    Everton 0-0 Watford

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford landed heavily in the Europa League defeat by Lyon and does so again as he comes off his line to punch away a cross, but has to climb over Watford midfielder Will Hughes to do so.

The former Sunderland man picks himself up, gives his ribs a rub and can continue.

Made of tough stuff, us goalies.

United get the first corner of the game through Ashley Young's run down the left. He always starts the big games, doesn't he?

The Red Devils play it short but Marcus Rashford's delivery is straight at the towering Belgian Thibault Courtois.

An early challenge from visiting defender Chris Smalling on Alvaro Morata, ripping the Spaniard's shirt.

A souvenir for someone to collect after the game.

It gives Eden Hazard an opportunity to lay the ball off to N'Golo Kante, but the returning midfielder's low, bobbly shot is into the midriff of David de Gea.

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte: "(Leaving David Luiz out) is a tactical decision. There is Andreas Christensen in good form and we have Ethan Ampadu who is a good, young player at the club.

"We are conceding many goals so you have to find stability and solidity. We have to be patient with the team and defend in the right way.

"Manchester United is a really good team they will want to win, like us. We have to try playing our football and be focused from the start to the end."

  14. 'A big match'published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

Chelsea v Manchester Utd (16:30 GMT)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: "The same team as against Tottenham shows I was pleased with the performance but we do not have many other options for this game. We tried to prepare the team best we could and we are ready for a big match.

"When you have one bad result, this is what happens at a big club. People that work at big clubs, they are used to it and know how to cope with the pressure. That is what we did after losing against Huddersfield and we managed to get results. Chelsea are not at all affected by the defeat against Roma.

"We have to respect big players individually. I would be very happy if Chelsea does not care about Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford or Henrikh Mkhitaryan. They will be trying to win the match but also thinking about them. We are going to try to win the match but Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata, do not deserve respect? We would be in trouble.

"I expect a big match, difficult for both teams trying to win and respecting their opponents."

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech: "At 2-1 we got back into the game and we were in it, we had time to search for the equaliser but the third goal makes a huge difference.

"I can't comment on the penalty because of my angle, but the third goal, I was surprised. David Silva looked far behind everybody but the referee has a better view than me.

"Referees have a difficult job to do. I don't know if he got it right or wrong but that goal made the difference."

  20. 'A great win for us'published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

    Manchester City

Manchester City's opening goalscorer Kevin de Bruyne: "We know Arsenal are a quality side but I think we contained them quite well. We created more chances and the third goal came at a good time. We should also have scored the second one in the first half. We kept our composure well and it is a great win for us.

"Obviously, it was great to score as it put us ahead and it's always nice every time you score. Maybe we got the benefit from the referee but the penalty was the second one of its type in the game. He had to give a penalty.

"The more you win, the more other teams want to beat you. It's been a great start for us so let's see what other games bring."
