    Man Utd

Manchester United have lost more Premier League games (17) and conceded more goals (66) against Chelsea than any other side.

  2. 'A different level'published at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

City are like a runaway train at the moment. I think Manchester United are the only team that can catch them but if they don't pick up the three points today, eight points is a big gap. City are playing football on a different level from everyone else at the moment.

Fabian Delph is moving a bit gingerly, as Kevin de Bruyne shouts for the medical staff to come and look at him. Another worry for Gareth Southgate?

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

Arsenal didn't get the rub of the green with decisions but City were by far the better side.

Fabian Delph looks to have picked up an injury too, one to watch.

That must have been extremely painful for Arsene Wenger.

Manchester City knocked it about for over 20 passes just then without a visiting player touching the ball.

Needless to say, the home fans greeted every one with an 'Ole' as Arsenal chased possession.

David: What can you possibly have against video refs for offside? It’s like hawkeye in tennis. Nobody would want to get rid of that.

Pallav: It's high time this poorly performing ref is given red card. Not only costing teams points but fans losing money as well.

Abdala: What is supposed to be the role of the 4th official when they can’t intervene when they are needed the most? Not fair.

Arsenal fans are not happy with Michael Oliver today.

A booking and a mouthful of abuse for a team-mate. Mesut Ozil has had another one of those days.

It looked onside, but having seen it a couple of times, you slow it down and put the lines on the pitch, it could be different.

If you are that adamant that it’s offside, as a defender you will keep moaning about it and keep moaning about it and that’s what the Arsenal defenders are doing.

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

    Trevor Sinclair
Ex-England and Man City winger on BBC Radio Manchester

There will be difficult times for City this season so the more daylight they can put between themselves and the rivals at this stage the better for them. With Chelsea and United facing off later, this result will be really valuable. You can't see a weakness in them at the moment.

Henry: Two players offside, City gets 3rd goal. If only we had some sort of technology that could fix this.... if only.

Richard: Offside goal and a penalty that would not have been given at the other end making life easy for City today.

Kaushik: Just a special mention to the City's scout team to give us a treat in Gabriel Jesus. This kid is some player!

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

I'm not sure anyone ever was saying Arsenal had title hopes this season but they will be 12 points behind City after this one. They do stay above Burnley on goal difference though.

Arsene Wenger said this week that Jack Wilshere should be playing for England but he still can't find a place for him in the Arsenal XI.

He's on now though, and knits together some lovely play in his own half. An easy on the eye player.

Arsene Wenger was not happy at all with that goal.

As the teams made their way back to the halfway line, the Arsenal manager was watching the big screen high in the corner to his left, presumably to see whether the goal should have been disallowed.

Granit Xhaka just gave fourth official Andre Marriner a piece of his mind as he made his way off, and Wenger has gone for the follow-up. I really would not want that job.

A 'soft' penalty and an 'offside' goal. They will be chief in Arsene Wenger's post-match comments no doubt. He's still in the ear of fourth official Andre Marriner. No idea what he's supposed to say.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 77 mins

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez is now booked for a frustrated lunge on David Silva, while City bring on Ilkay Gundogan for Raheem Sterling.

There are also appearances for Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud off the bench. Granit Xhaka comes off and he's furious about that third City goal.

  18. Silva offsidepublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

    Trevor Sinclair
Ex-England and Man City winger on BBC Radio Manchester

Silva almost stopped because he thought he was offside. Looking at the replay, he looks just off to be honest but you can only play to the whistle. In the end, it's a very simple finish as he cuts it back for Jesus to score. Arsene Wenger will be furious but until we get video technology involved these kind of things can happen.

GOAL - Manchester City 3-1 Arsenalpublished at 74 mins

    Gabriel Jesus

More than a suspicion of offside but even more of a suspicion of Arsenal switching off. It all starts with Alexis Sanchez losing the ball in his own left-back position. City surround him in numbers and work it well into the run of David Silva, who looks a mile off. Arsenal all stop, Silva lays it on a plate for Gabriel Jesus, who buries it.

Replays show it was a lot closer than it looked. But I think Silva was still off.

    Manchester City 2-1 Arsenal

It's opening up. Arsenal have a good attack which ends when Sead Kolasinac's ball in is behind Aaron Ramsey, and a City counter then peters out too. Good game, next goal is massive.
