Speaking about trips down memory lane, how about a young Neil Warnock 'doing the lads' feet'?

    Yes, really.

  3. Lawro predictspublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Liverpool v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Eden Hazard has been fantastic for Chelsea in recent weeks, and his side are on a run of four straight wins in the Premier League.

But the Blues are going to have to put together a much longer winning streak if they are going to catch up with leaders Manchester City, and I don't see them doing that.

It will be interesting to see what the chasing pack do in January if they are still bunched together then.

Normally that transfer window is more about the teams near the bottom of the table but this season who the top teams buy - and especially who they sell - is going to make a big difference to who finishes in the top four.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-1

  4. One that got away...published at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Liverpool v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

A trip to Baku and back is hardly ideal preparation for a match against one of your big rivals, but hapless Qarabag proved ideal opposition for Chelsea in a Champions League stroll.

Liverpool returned from Seville 24 hours earlier, but with the seeds of another crisis of confidence planted in the backs of their minds after defensive capitulation robbed them of victory.

There'll be much attention paid to Mohamed Salah at Anfield. The Egyptian barely played 14 games for Chelsea, let alone scored 14 goals - the tally he has amassed from just three months back in England.

Every club has a list of 'the ones who got away', but at this rate Salah will soon be joining Kevin De Bruyne at the top end of Chelsea's.

Another one for Balotelli, and a fair point from David...

Ojelabi Tosin: Mario Balotelli should have a good behavior clause.

David Ing: Re Sunderland and space travel; I think the ban was extended to the rest of the first team as well. Though, saying that, a team lost in space, is not much worse than bottom of the Championship.

Today's late game will see Mohamed Salah up against his former side Chelsea.

The Egyptian winger barely figured for the Blues, managing just nine hours of football for the club before he was sent off on loan and then permanently to Roma.

Chelsea's loss is Liverpool's gain with Salah having been sensational for the Reds so far this season. He has 14 goals in 19 games and will be desperate to add to that tally today.

  8. Lawro predictspublished at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

Man Utd v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

Brighton look as if they belong in the Premier League - with the manner of Monday's draw with Stoke being further proof of that.

The way the Seagulls came back for a point after twice going behind shows their belief along with the character and organisation I would associate with a Chris Hughton side.

Even so, for them to go to Old Trafford and get something is an awfully big ask.

Paul Pogba added a different dimension to Manchester United's attack when he returned from injury against Newcastle and he galvanises his team-mates too.

United look a lot more like scoring when Pogba is in the side, and I don't see Brighton holding out.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Pogba is a world class talent, and he will improve the side. He had an air of freedom against Newcastle, but when they haven’t had him that commanding aura has been lacking, so to have him back has been huge for them

Manchester United lost to Basel in the Champions League in midweek

After some midweek Champions League frustrations, Manchester United will be fully aware that normal service will need to be resumed in their continued efforts to keep pace with their city neighbours.

There hasn't been any sign of last season's costly home draws as Jose Mourinho's team look to make it eight consecutive league wins at Old Trafford - with Manchester City their next domestic visitors.

Brighton arrive unbeaten in five matches and as a current top-half team after a very steady start.

Their last league meeting against United ended 1-1 at Old Trafford almost 35 years ago. Any kind of repeat would certainly raise some eyebrows.

While Lionel Messi's contract situation is all sorted, one that is rumbling on is Marouane Fellaini's at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho spoke about the Belgian, whose contract is up next summer, in his pre-match news conference yesterday, saying he is "wishing" there is an "understanding" between club and player soon.

So Lionel Messi has a 700m euros buyout clause in his contract. That's got us on the BBC Sport football desk thinking about the sort of clauses that should be inserted to other players' contracts, or what's the most outlandish clauses you've had or heard in contracts?

One of the best I've heard is Stefan Schwarz, on joining Sunderland in 1999, had a clause his deal forbidding space travel. As you do.

There's football galore all over the BBC today, starting with Football Focus at 12:00 GMT on BBC 1 where Dan Walker will be joined by Jermaine Jenas and Mark Schwarzer to mull over the week's talking points, and preview the weekend's action.

5 live Sport will be coming from Wembley from midday onwards ahead of Tottenham v West Brom, which you can listen to from 15:00. Mark Chapman is in charge, with ex-Spurs, Newcastle and England winger Chris Waddle joining him and commentator Ian Dennis.

And you can keep up with all the goals as they go in with Final Score. Leon Osman and Chris Powell join Jason Mohammad from 14:30 on the Red Button and here online, or you can watch from 16:30 on BBC One (apart from Scotland).

From Gary Megson to Lionel Messi, a natural segue I'm sure you'll agree.

The latter has within the last hour signed a new deal at Barcelona that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020-21 season.

His buyout clause? 700m euros. SEVEN HUNDRED.

Read more about his new deal here.

But before all that we're going to party like it's 2009. Why? Because Gary Megson is back in a Premier League dugout for the first time since he managed Bolton in the top flight eight years ago.

Megson has stepped in as caretaker manager of West Brom and has the unenviable task of trying to get the Baggies bouncing at Tottenham this afternoon.

He'll be hoping things go a little better than they did for the Premier League's other caretaker manager on Thursday, with David Unsworth overseeing Everton's 5-1 thumping at the hands of Atalanta.

Tottenham versus West Brom is one of five games at 3pm this afternoon, here's the day's full line up:

    Crystal Palace v Stoke

    Man Utd v Brighton

    Newcastle v Watford

    Swansea v Bournemouth

    Tottenham v West Brom

    Liverpool v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

  19. A tea time treatpublished at 11:49 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017
