The West Brom caretaker manager is having his name sung loudly by sections of the Hawthorns support. Will the Albion stick with the man who took them into the Premier League in the first place?

    Watford 0-0 Manchester United

Watford are on top, without a doubt. Richarlison pings in an early ball in behind and Andre Gray is again very close to meeting it.

  3. A positive start for Watfordpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-0 Man Utd

    Danny Murphy
Former Liverpool midfielder on Radio 5 Live

The first good move of the night that is - really good from Watford. Richarlison should probably do better, but it's good defending from Victor Lindelof - he's seen the ball's line and put himself in the way of the attacker. It's been a positive start from Watford.

If you're comparing Anthony Martial to he likes of Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling, those similar start of players that like to cut in - he's got some really good numbers - he's got a lot of goals in him. I'm expecting a lot from him tonight.

Lewis Dunk with a really solid header from a Brighton corner - straight at Wayne Hennessey though...

Any other spurs fans feeling anxious? I feel they need to win tonight or their season is in danger of unravelling. Pleased to see Lamela back and hope he does well.

  8. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-0 Manchester United

Watford looking good. First Tom Cleverley whips in a cross from the left and Will Hughes should be there to meet it but isn't, then they cross from the other side and Richarlison is eased out of it by Victor Lindelof.

    United having to defend stoutly.

  9. Postpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    West Brom 0-0 Newcastle

Newcastle make a decent start in a light blue kit - Matt Ritchie cuts in from the right and hits a left-footed shot which is deflected wide.

It's been a very open start, you can tell Watford are confident - they've had a few good results recently and they've got a real spring in their step.

  11. ouch!

Postpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-0 Manchester United

Those sting on a cold night! Adrian Mariappa clears the ball away, straight into Anthony Martial's face. Accidental. But painful.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Leicester 1-0 Tottenham

Off the line! Spurs almost level it up straight away as Moussa Sissoko barges down the middle, his shot is saved and is still going in until Vicente Iborra gets there to clear away.

  13. Big night for Lukakupublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-0 Man Utd

    Danny Murphy
Former Liverpool midfielder on Radio 5 Live

It's a big night for Romelu Lukaku, not even in terms of scoring goals, he just needs to be strong and hold the ball up. He needs to play the striker's role and play his position.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Brighton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Great double save! Palace go route one, the keeper smashes downfield and Christian Benteke nods it on. Wilf Zaha is tackled, Benteke toe-pokes a shot from the edge of the area, Mat Ryan saves, and then gets up well to save Zaha's follow-up.

James Smith: York v Leeds never really happens but when it does it isn't dissimilar to a Rugby League game.

Ashish: Arsenal vs Stoke. Shawcross vs Ramsey incident was ignition point, to which Stoke fans gave plenty of air with disgraceful chants. Their love for Wenger is well documented, too.

  18. goal

    Jamie Vardy (13 mins)

Jamie Vardy scores for Leicester with a volleyImage source, Reuters

There is the first goal! And it's a beauty too. Two years ago today Jamie Vardy was scoring for the 11th game in a row and he's got another fine one tonight!

Marc Albrighton plays a chip over the top, you'd expect Vardy to try and bring that down as he's still about 15 yards from goal. But instead Vardy snakes out a right foot and loops a volley up and over Hugo Lloris and into the net.

    Great goal.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek in action for Crystal PalaceImage source, PA

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is having a fine season for Crystal Palace but he's not a right winger. He's doing a job out there for Roy Hodgson and beats two men but then runs down a cul-de-sac.
