Poor David Moyes looked throughly dejected as that goal went in.

He had been getting increasingly agitated in his technical area, fearing West Ham were beginning to lose their shape.

In the end, all he could do was stand with his arms folded and watch at City celebrated what must surely be the matchwinner.

Two points from four games for the new Hammers boss, still in the bottom three - and Chelsea at the London Stadium next Saturday.

Surely De Bruyne is the best midfielder in the world at the moment. On fire!!

West Ham could yet throw a spanner, a hammer, in the works. Marko Arnautovic floats in a cross but it's too heavy as Michail Antonio goes down with cramp. He's put a shift in.

He comes off now, Andre Ayew on.

rambo rambo: Sign of champions (unfortunately, Man Utd fan) scoring late goals

Carlton Chilembwe: Nice touch by Silva but that exquisite pass from KDB was awesome

Paul Christie: Rice has cost his team points today not tracking runners twice. Hard to take that for West Ham. Positive signs for Moyes regardless

There's still time for Raheem Sterling to score yet.

City minutes away from a 13th straight league win.

Kevin de Bruyne, what a player, gets the ball, what a pass. What a run and what a finish from Silva. Guardiola is going mad, the fans are going mad, another late goal and it's deserved for Man City.

Pablo Zabaleta grabbed his head in his hands as his mate David Silva hooked that goal into the net. A great image if any snapper got it.

Pep whips Sergio Aguero off and throws Fernandinho on. Shut the shop up.

    Great finish!

Kevin de Bruyne is the man once again to find the killer pass, clipping in a ball behind the West Ham defence when it didn't look like there was any space to do so. It's perfect weight, perfect curl, and David Silva throws himself at it, volleyign in acrobatically from just a few yards out.

Completely agree with Katy from Edinburgh regarding Hummels. Think he could work wonders at the back in a City shirt.

Every minute seems to take an age, I can't imagine how it feels for fans of either club. City have played 285 passes in this half to West Ham's 62.

Oh what a game this is. It's end to end stuff. Ederson with a good save. It's a brilliant game.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 82 mins

    Manchester City 1-1 West Ham

Marko Arnautovic is last man and defends pretty well at the back post to stop David Silva, before Gabriel Jesus has a shot blocked. Hammered clear, City only leaving one man back now and Michail Antonio has a shot from range - saved!

Still all City. Sergio Aguero has a shot blocked. This is ridiculous. Compelling viewing though.

Next Sunday will be interesting, if Mourinho thinks Arsenal players love falling onto the grass to win an advantage then these City players have absolutely perfected the art. Never a free kick, but hey it leads to an equaliser so why not.

Out of nothing Michail Antonio is almost in on the break for West Ham! He chases a lost cause, Eli Mangala and he go in for a challenge and the City man emerges with the ball. If there was a foul there then Mangala was in big trouble.

At the other end it's chaos again as David Silva's shot is blocked and Raheem Sterling almost has a tap in.

West Ham's pass completion must be about 5%. Every time they get it back they just smash it downfield and hope that Diafra Sakho can keep it.

Declan Rice does brilliantly to win a header at the back post.
