    City skipper - and a substitute today - Vincent Kompany broke off his warm-up to appeal for a penalty when Aaron Creswell blocked with his hand just then.

    Fourth official Michael Jones had to shout at Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho a few minutes before as City had more than the permitted three substitutes on the touchline.
