    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

Better from Riyad Mahrez, much better.

The Algerian collects a pass from Jamie Vardy and makes his way into the box, but his low shot is brilliantly kept out by Julian Speroni.

    Super stop.

At the moment Leicester are putting in a performance like Southampton did against them in midweek. They're second best all over the park.

  3. CLOSE!published at 49 mins

    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

This should have been three, this should have been game over.

James McArthur dispossesses Demarai Gray in the middle of the park and Palace break.

Andros Townsend has turned into Neymar today, stepovers before crossing for Christian Benteke, but the Belgian makes a mess of his finish, stooping to head wide instead of putting his foot through it.

Since the start of last season, Wilfried Zaha has been directly involved in 20 Premier League goals, more than any other Crystal Palace player (11 goals nine assists).

All the praise has to go to Palace - Christian Benteke got them off to a good start and then Wilfried Zaha did brilliantly for the second goal. Zaha is a wonderful player to watch, but his end product lets him down sometimes, but it didn't this time, that step-over was fantastic.

Leicester can't play it into Jamie Vardy's feet - they're really struggling - I think Claude Puel has got to get Shinji Okazaki on for the second-half.

Stuart Black: Take Mahrez off at half-time - he doesn't track back and he lost ball for the second goal. Dreadful Leicester - can't break teams down that defend deep.

Mick Gardner:Okazaki had to start today. Squad rotation is one thing but leaving out in-form players is ridiculous.Managers are being too cute with their line-ups.

I have just glanced over at the Crystal Palace fans. They cannot quite believe what they have seen in this first-half. Palace have been dominant at times. Roy’s revolution is well under way... There is a second-half to come however.

A last chance in the half for Leicester before half time?

I wouldn't want to be in that Leicester changing room at half-time. Claude Puel really has a lot to do. Jamie Vardy's barely had a touch, Riyad Mahrez looks off the pace - I think Puel needs to introduce a couple of fresh faces after the break.

Brilliant goal again. Palace have been magnificent so far in this match. Wilfried Zaha did everything right with this goal, he's picked the ball up, quick feet to go past Ben Chilwell, and he's blasted it past Kasper Schmeichel. What a finish!

    Stunning.

Riyad Mahrez has been poor today, gives the ball away and how costly an error it is.

Christian Benteke is the man to drive forward with the ball. Birthday boy Wilfred Ndidi tries claiming it back off him but the big Belgian says, "no gifts for you here mate", instead laying it off to Wilfried Zaha.

The Palace winger has work to do, he needs to keep his composure and does it in superb fashion, sending Ben Chilwell to Loughborough with a dummy and thumping a crisp finish into the net from 10 yards out.

    Emphatic.

Palace look like they can do anything they want with the ball - they've had so much time. Leicester really haven't been pressing like they have in the past few weeks, and I'm sure Claude Puel will have something to say about it at half-time, because they have got to up their tempo.

Former PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez has barely had a touch, 13 to be precise. Striker Jamie Vardy (4) is the only outfield player for Leicester to have fewer.

Thoughts on the Algerian's new bleach-blond hair?

It looks like he's modelled it on Masterchef judge Monica.
