Liverpool 2-1 Leicester
Leicester City
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy: "It was a good effort, the boys dug in and fought til the end but today it wasn't to be.
"All the second balls were going to them and they capitalized on that. That is something we need to correct in future games.
"The team spirit is still there and that's something we need to take into the next game. We need to make sure we're fully fit, keep fighting and keep collecting points."
Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley
Huddersfield Town
Huddersfield boss David Wagner: "I have not seen the footage [of Burnley's penalty appeal] to be honest, that is why I can't say and I was too far away. If there was contact, we have been lucky.
"It was a very tough game and we are very pleased with a point as you can see why Burnley are seventh in the Premier League. They had the better chances, they had more chances, but it was a point we had to to work hard for and that is what the players have done.
"The second half was better, but I was only angry at half-time as we didn't use the wind like we can.
"We can be happy with a point against a strong side. They had better chance and they were better, but it does not make it less for me as you have to collect points where we can and we were able to even if we were not at our best.
"We looked tired and sloppy in possession. The first touch was not good enough so we did not have enough ball possession. We were not at our best, but the players fought and what is what you need to do if you are not at your best. This is why I am happy we have this point."
Chelsea 5-0 Stoke City
Chelsea
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte speaking to MOTD: "Today we were very good, we started very well and to score twice after 15 minutes, another clean sheet, there are a lot of positives after this game. But at the same time we know we must continue to work and improve, and prepare for a very difficult game against Arsenal. Every win is important for us, today it was important to get three points to continue our positive run.
"Today, we finished a great year for us - for the club, for the fans, for the players, for me. For a first experience in the league, to win the title is not easy, so I have to thank the club for giving me this opportunity."
On rotation: "We need to have all my players in the best form, and we know very well in January will be a difficult time because of the games, and in February the Champions League starts again, so I need all my players at the top of their game."
On the title race: "I think at this moment it doesn't depend on us, because let's be honest, Man City are on a fantastic run. We just have to give everything in every game to try and get three points, and then at the end of the season we will see what happens."
On the January transfer window: "I am very happy to work with my players - I have had conversations with the club - and they know my opinion. I am the coach and I look after the things on the pitch, if the club can help us, it would be okay, but if they can't it will be okay as well."

Watford 1-2 Swansea
Watford
Watford boss Marco Silva speaking to Match of the Day: "It's really hard to take. We are disappointed, our fans are as well.
"We did enough to win the match. We controlled the match. They had one shot off the bar but we controlled the match, scored one goal and had more chances to kill the match, even seconds before the goal.
"At this level, when you don't score, it gives them belief. One cross after, they score one goal and it looks a bit offside. Even with 1-1 we need to be different, to keep focus to the end.
"We did enough to win. We need to kill the match and that is a gift for them. We created enough chances to comfortably win this match."
Bournemouth 2-1 Everton
Everton
Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin: "When we equalised we expected to put them under pressure but we didn't do that. It is a deflection which wins the game and that is frustrating.
"We must rectify the things we are doing wrong. It was bad play from us for their two goals, we blame each other, we blame everyone. We don't have enough options on the ball, you can't point the figure at anyone in particular.
"We take the positives - we were unbeaten under the manager and are out of trouble at the bottom. We know that we can push up the table."
Newcastle 0-0 Brighton
Newcastle United
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez, speaking to MOTD: "The team is working hard, that is what you expect from these players.
"We did not play at the level we maybe can play but credit to Brighton because they were well organised and managed the tempo of the game quite well.
"Their keeper was busy but we could not score at could not get the three points, that was the main thing for us."
Liverpool 2-1 Leicester
Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "It is a maximum satisfaction to win like this today and on perfect days we win football games. Today was pretty much perfect.
"When we were one goal down our reaction was the best I've ever seen in this situation. The crowd were unbelievable and we needed them today to score these two goals. Mo was fantastic with his dribbling and his vision. I couldn't ask more from him.
"Staying in the game is the real deal of football in this league but I am happy for Mo, I am happy for the team because this group is a fantastic group of players. It's a good team performance and a well deserved win."
On the length of Virgil van Dijk's new contract with Liverpool: "It is not too important. I don't know how long the contract will be. My guess is maybe five or six years? I don't know but we have plenty of time to chat."
Newcastle 0-0 Brighton
Newcastle United
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez, speaking to Sky Sports: "We are not happy because we wanted to win. It could be better for us but I would also say they did well. They were controlling the tempo of the game, it is a pity but at least the team was fighting.
"You have to try and get three points from these types of games. In the second half we had more chances, we were pushing hard. That was a positive thing.
"The fans are amazing for the team, they have to be behind the team all the time They know that these players are giving everything."
Bournemouth 2-1 Everton
Everton
Everton boss Sam Allardyce: "We gifted them the goals with sloppy possession. We have been the victim of our own errors which is disappointing. We must eliminate those simple errors.
"When we did play in the right areas we could have created more. Overall it is disappointing.
"The squad is trying to get fitter, we have players coming back from injury it's a bit of a struggle at the moment. We will persevere.
"It was a great run which has come to an end."
Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley
Burnley
Burnley boss Sean Dyche: I don’t need to say too much as everyone will see it because it is impossible that it is not given as a penalty. I am in a league where penalties are given for all reasons and that is definitely a penalty. Jeff has gone down in a natural manner and he does not get it. It seems people who go down in a theatrical way do get it, but Jeff goes down in a natural way as his foot is clearly taken away, but he does not get it.
It was a very dominant performance in the first half. Huddersfield are going well but we had a dominant performance.
Mark Hughes has staked a lot on getting a result against Newcastle on New Year's Day...
Chelsea 5-0 Stoke City
Stoke City
Stoke City boss Mark Hughes speaking to MOTD: "It was a difficult day for us, clearly we were short of numbers in defensive areas, and we made a couple of mistakes too. We need to get a few players back to give us that defensive solidity, we had two young lads in today, who tried their best in difficult circumstances.
"We had a few decent periods in the second half, when we managed to hold onto the ball, and I thought Sadio Berahino looked sharp. We've got to go again on Monday - so that's why we had to rest a few players - so I take responsibility for that. If we win on Monday, it's a decent Christmas period for us. The schedule tests you and it will test us more than the bigger clubs, because they've got that squad depth.
"The reality was it was always going to be difficult to get a result here - even with a full strength squad - sometimes you have to be pragmatic."
Watford 1-2 Swansea
Swansea City
More from Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal, speaking to Match of the Day: "We tried everything to win. Watford are very strong. We felt a little lucky in moments, but Watford were lucky also.
"The game is like this, but we prepared very well, changed the formation and had just two training sessions with the team.
"With two attackers, we were more open to try and create problems for Watford.
"I must give congratulations to my players. They are better players than they are showing. They need a plan and a dynamic. During the game they were better and better."
Liverpool 2-1 Leicester
Leicester City
Leicester City boss Claude Puel: "Of course, after a defeat it is a disappointment but Liverpool played their best today. We did well to score first and we tried to keep that in the second half. We need to continue our work but it is important to concentrate on the game on Monday and forget this game to move forward.
"We lost the ball too quickly and we could have launched counter attacks better but it was a good game with a positive attitude of unselfish players and now we must look forward to Monday."
