  1. 'Definitely a penalty'published at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

    Alex Bruce
    Wigan defender on Final Score

Definitely a penalty for me. It's good skill from Jeff Hendrick to take him around Jonas Lossl and the defender's clipped him, there's plenty of contact there. We've seen it a few times now and it's definitely a penalty.

  2. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Brighton's best chance of a breakthrough looks to be from a set piece and they go close to scoring from a corner as Shane Duffy heads back across goal for Lewis Dunk, who shoots but is denied by Karl Darlow.

Newcastle just have not got the hang of Brighton's corners.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 1-1 Leicester

It's been all Liverpool but Leicester are so close to regaining the lead! A long throw is flicked on by Harry Maguire, it's half cleared to Wilfred Ndidi, and he hits a flat, sliced left-footer from 20 yards which has Loris Karius beaten but skims the post and goes wide!

  4. Worried about Stokepublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Chelsea 3-0 Stoke City

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on Final Score

I'm worried about Stoke this season, they aren't too far from dropping into the bottom three and they've been stagnant for some time now. This result will do nothing for the squad's confidence levels, which are already dangerously low.

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Nervous times as this game enters its closing stages. Newcastle have not taken their chances and Brighton are enjoying their best spell of possession so far.

A touch over 20 minutes to go.

  6. Menace in the box Mo Salahpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 1-1 Leicester

There's no doubt Mo Salah is leading Liverpool's attack in the second half causing Leicester's defence to sweat.

Five shots including his equaliser and 12 touches all inside Leicester's area.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 1-1 Leicester

Twice Sadio Mane has had the ball in the net today - twice he's been offside.

He finishes really neatly after being played in over the top but he was a yard beyond Daniel Amartey.

  8. CLOSE!published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Chelsea 3-0 Stoke

How on earth have Chelsea not added to their lead in this half? They've had chances, none better than this one for Alvaro Morata as he bursts through on goal, but shoots straight at Jack Butland.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Bournemouth 1-1 Everton

Big hand! Bournemouth's best move in a while sees Simon Francis get on the overlap and cut the ball back, Callum Wilson hits it low and hard but Jordan Pickford makes a big one-handed save to push it away from danger.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

BIG shout for a penalty for Burnley!

Jonas Lossl is straight off his line as Jeff Hendrick breaks through on the left, Lossl gets none of the ball and all of Hendrick's legs and even the Huddersfield keeper looks like he is expecting to be penalised.

Referee Paul Tierney waves play on. Not sure about that at all.

  12. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Watford 1-0 Swansea

There is such a lack of confidence in the Swansea camp, understandably. Sub Luciano Narsingh gets the ball in a good spot on the right of the area and instead of just lashing it he takes three touches and is closed down.

  13. Postpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Chelsea 3-0 Stoke

Almost a fourth for Chelsea as Pedro sticks an effort just wide of the far post from Danny Drinkwater's pass.

Davide Zappacosta is on for Victor Moses for the hosts with half an hour to go.

  14. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 1-1 Evertonpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Idrissa Gueye (57 mins)

Everton level it up! Oumar Niasse has just come on and he gets the assist, flicking a ball into the run of Idrissa Gueye, who slots home with confidence.

It all came from a poor clearance by Bournemouth captain Simon Francis.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Newcastle 0-0 Brighton

Another good save by Mat Ryan as he manages to get a hand to Dwight Gayle's flicked header.

It's been pretty much all Newcastle.

  16. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Liverpool 1-1 Leicester

Not really a like for like comparison is it Mike?

Anyway, Liverpool are happy with their signing, he's missed a few chances today but now has Liverpool level and the hosts are looking full of running and danger.

Mike Sizzy: Why on earth did Jose not buy Salah? Instead he bought a wasted Lukaku, as a United fan I’m shocked, Salah is just extremely good.

Lee Jackson: Mo always needs a few sighters, get in there. Messi is the Argentinian Salah

  18. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Watford 1-0 Swansea

Unlucky Watford! Molla Wague heads home from a corner but a foul had been given - not much in that at all...

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 30 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Burnley

Better from Huddersfield in this half, they are at least putting a few passes together, but it is still Burnley looking most likely to score as former Terrier Scott Arfield tests Jonas Lossl with a driven effort from just inside the box.

Tom Ince, who hasn't had a great game, is replaced by Joe Lolley for Huddersfield.
