It's no surprise to see a change of goalkeeper for Astana.

Aleksandr Mokin had a night to forget in Glasgow and his place goes to Nenad Eric, who is one year his junior at 35.

    Astana v Celtic (agg 0-5) (16:30)

That's quite a trick but those are the stats behind Celtic's first leg triumph in Glasgow.

Astana own goals opened and completed the scoring, with Scott Sinclair netting twice and James Forrest also on target.

  4. No sign of Simunovicpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 22 August 2017

    Astana v Celtic (agg 0-5) (16:30)

So, Nir Bitton continues as a makeshift centre-half, despite picking up a foot injury at the weekend, and he partners Kristoffer Ajer, the 19-year-old Norwegian.

Jozo Simunovic is not in the squad, while Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata are out with injuries.

Is Simunovic simply being rested as a precaution? He didn't play on the plastic pitch at Kilmarnock on Saturday.

Callum McGregor and Krisoffer Ajer replace Tom Rogic and Jozo Simunovic in the starting line-up.

Celtic XI: Gordon, Lustig, Ajer, Bitton, Tierney; Ntcham, Brown; Forrest, McGregor, Sinclair; Griffiths.

"We think of it as zero-zero, that is our approach and we want to get a good result," said Brendan Rodgers on Monday.

The Celtic manager is trying to ensure his side guard against complacency and produce a thoroughly professional display.

"In every single game we play we are always relaxed but focused and there is no change in this game," he added.

    Astana v Celtic (agg 0-5) (16:30)

Celtic have one foot firmly in the Champions League group stage, taking a 5-0 first-leg lead to Astana.

It may be afternoon in the UK but it's getting on over in Kazakhstan, with a five-hour time difference.

It's hot and humid and there's a horrible artificial pitch but surely a comeback from the hosts is unthinkable. Right?
