Bournemouth go close! Jordan Ibe fires in a shot from range that Tim Krul gets his fingertips to, to push away.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:31 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Huddersfield

A chance for Tom Ince to open his Huddersfield account as he latches on to Rajiv van la Parra's 40-yard pass inside the area but shoots straight at the keeper. Should have done better.

  4. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Wolves 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers have coped with the early pressure and are looking lively now as Liam Sercombe's effort from just outside the box is palmed wide.

  5. Postpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Bournemouth 0-0 Brighton

Chance for Brighton at Bournemouth. Jose Izquierdo gets in behind the Cherries defence, but when his moment comes he pulls his shot wide.

It is one of few chances so far in this game.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:28 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Barnsley

You've got to stick that one away!

Fernando Llorente is inexplicably left all alone for a corner and the striker has time to place is header... but puts it over.

    Terrible defending from Barnsley.

  7. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool free-kick. Philippe Coutinho is over it... wide. The strike is decent but his radar is off and the ball flies wide.

Eight of the 11 Carabao Cup ties are currently goalless. All these games have to be settled tonight, which means extra-time and penalties.

Get the coffee on. It could be a long night.

    West Ham 2-0 Bolton

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

West Ham's attitude has been spot on tonight.

Straight after going 2-0 up Cheikhou Kouyate and Mark Noble are both harrying and hounding Bolton's midfielders, not giving them a moment to settle and it's been the same all over the pitch.

Exactly what Slaven Bilic ordered ahead of Tottenham's visit here on Saturday.

  10. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Barnsley

Fairly low key start to this game.

Quite reminiscent of Spurs' match with Swansea on Saturday with the hosts dominating possession and struggling to create many clear-cut chances.

  11. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Leeds

Another chance for Burnley. This time Sam Vokes breaks clear in the box but his pull-back is poked wide by Scott Arfield. Should have scored.

  12. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Bristol City 0-0 Stoke

Hordur Magnusson is causing all sorts of problems for Stoke City, who are struggling to deal with his presence from set pieces, and Lee Grant is forced to tip over a powerful header from the defender.

The Championship side have been the better team so far. Might be an upset on the cards here.

  13. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

Leon Osman is not wrong. It really is one-way traffic at the King Power. But crucially, it remains 0-0. Possession and territory is only good if you make something of it and so far Liverpool have not done that.

  14. 'No out ball for Foxes'published at 20:21 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

    Leicester just can't get out.

Coming into the game I thought the two centre forwards of Leicester would cause real problems for Liverpool.

But that hasn't been the case, there's no out ball for Leicester. Craig Shakespeare is going to have to introduce some pace up front.

Leicester will be desperate to get to half time to make a change.

  15. Postpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Leeds

Chance for Burnley. A free-kick is swung into the box and met by Kevin Long but his header skips past the post and wide.

  16. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Reading 0-0 Swansea

A quiet opening 15 minutes for Wilfried Bony. The Swansea striker has barely had a touch and it's Reading who have gone closest to breaking the deadlock, Adrian Popa firing well over.

  17. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Brentford 0-1 Norwich

Oh no. The Bees have a chance to level this game up with a spot kick of their own having conceded from one earlier, but Yoann Barbet makes a real mess of it, skying the ball high over the bar. Very ugly.

The penalty was awarded for a Wes Hoolahan foul on Kamo Mokotjo.

  18. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-0 Boltonpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Diafra Sakho (31 mins)

    It's been coming.

Marko Arnautovic is running the show at the moment and he provides the assist for West Ham's second, pulling the ball back for Diafra Sakho to stroke home.

Thirty minutes into the nine games that kicked off at 19:45 BST and just the three goals so far.

Cue a flurry in three, two, one...

  20. 'Leicester should be concerned'published at 20:14 British Summer Time 19 September 2017

    Leicester 0-0 Liverpool

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Liverpool are getting in at will.

Andy Robertson finds himself down the left again, another chance for Liverpool. They are getting in far too easily and Leicester should be concerned.

Leicester aren't laying a glove on them. Liverpool are creating chance after chance and you would expect one to go in soon.
