Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "Don't tell me that anyone says Burnley deserved to win that, because they didn't. The lads are devastated, they didn't deserve that.

"We'll be OK, we're fine. We are working hard to try and turn this around but I am encouraged by what I've seen tonight.

"Burnley play on percentages, they hope something will drop for them and they are making a habit of it."

Max O'Collins: Van Aanholt should have been sent off. Game changer. Granted Watford’s defending has been hideous since they went down to 10 men.

Steve: Well i am going to eat humble pie. I thought Burnley and Huddersfield would be propping up the league. Well done so far to Burnley

GOAL - Crystal Palace 2-1 Watfordpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    James McArthur (90 mins)

    My word!

Tom Cleverley was holding it all together for Watford, or so it seems. Again, Palace come to life late on, again it's all thanks to Wilfried Zaha.

No matter how poor his end product can be he never gives up, he never stops showing for the ball. Brilliant from the winger, who skips past Daryl Janmaat and picks out James McArthur about 10 yards out, he steers into the bottom corner.

    Laurent Depoitre (90 mins)

Late goals in every match! It may only be a consolation but that's some header, Huddersfield sub Laurent Depoitre meets a cross from the left with a bullet across goal, past Thibaut Courtois and in.

    Fine header.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-1 Watfordpublished at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Bakary Sako (89 mins)

Yes, that red card does open the door for Palace!

Wilfried Zaha dances inside, hits a low shot which Heurelho Gomes can only push out. Sub Bakary Sako gets the rebound, Gomes saves that, but it then hits Sako on the legs and squirms over the line.

How big a goal could that be?!

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Does this open the door for Palace?Tom Cleverley loses the ball on the edge of the Palace area, he's wary of the counter and dives in on Jeff Schlupp, it's clumsy rather than nasty but it's also a second booking and he has to go.
