    Huddersfield 0-3 Chelsea

Better from Town, and a good save too. Huddersfield work Tom Ince into the area but the angle is against him and Thibaut Courtois is able to make the block at his near post.

Zanka then hits a piledriver over from range. Can the hosts get on the scoresheet at least?

So that’s what those three stars on the Huddersfield club crest are. I thought they were just Christmas decorations...

Although there's isn't an out and out centre forward - they're three good players, Pedro, Willian and Hazard. It's getting worse for Huddersfield, Chelsea have got into a pattern. There's so much movement.

  4. Hard work ahead for Huddersfieldpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Huddersfield 0-3 Chelsea

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the John Smith's Stadium

Getting hammered at home by the champions is not the kind of result that sends a team down.

However, the Terriers' next five games - against Watford, Southampton, Stoke, Burnley and Leicester - are the kind that offer opportunities to collect points.

By the end of the Leicester match on 1 January, we will have a much better idea of whether Huddersfield have a chance of extending their Premier League stay beyond a single season.

More slick interplay frees Victor Moses inside the area, but from the acutest of acute angles he hits a shot/cross behind goal.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Here's that Clarets change - nuisance value from Ashley Barnes as he joins Chris Wood in attack. He replaces Jeff Hendrick.

I see a pattern here: Ozil criticized by fans, Ozil turns on style. Bakayoko hammered by fans, Bakayoko comes good. Who's next?!

    Burnley 0-0 Stoke

Sean Dyche is readying a change or two, his side have won a lot of games 1-0 and as poor as they have been tonight they are well placed to do so again. Steven Defour shoots from range but it's easy for Jack Butland.

Seth Gogo Egoeh: Chelsea fans must really believe that football started from 2005 to taunt Huddersfield with "Champions of England, you'll never sing that". This is what happens when you're allergic to history. Incredible!

  11. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Speaking of relegation battles, Palace need to find their A game and fast. Only one shot on target in the whole game and that was the Watford goal.

That won't do it either, Jeff Schlupp screwing a shot wide when he had Wilfried Zaha over to his left.

Steve Barker: No real surprise with Huddersfield. They've had their "cup final" this season with win over Man Utd. Can only see a relegation struggle in New Year for them I'm afraid.

Kurt Zouma can't carry on, like Stephen Ward in the first half you wonder if that could be an enforced festive holiday. Looks like a twanged hamstring. On comes Kevin Wimmer.

Without being too critical I just don't know what Huddersfield are trying to achieve. This is the worst possible way to lose.

    Pedro (50 mins)

Clinical from Chelsea, a really crisp finish from the bright-as-a-button Pedro. Marcos Alonso puts a good cross in once more, Willian almost volleys it in the middle but ends up instead teeing up Pedro, 12 yards out, and he blasts it into the top corner. No chance.
