    Scottish Cup - third round

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland

Livingston are halfway to avoiding an upset against junior side Glenafton, who to be fair haven't looked too out of place against Championship opposition.

The crucial moment came on 20 minutes when Dylan Mackin dispatched the ball into the back of the net after Allan Lithgow knocked down Josh Mullin's corner.

Glenafton goalkeeper Brian McGarrity pulled off a great save to deny Keaghan Jacobs making it 2-0 just before the break.

  8. Must do better...published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

It's been a rather disappointing afternoon so far, with Premiership sides suffering from a chronic bout of shot-shyness.

It's bitterly cold out there, perhaps the players need some extra time to warm up.

  9. Moult punishes 'slack' Donspublished at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    HT: Aberdeen 0-1 Motherwell

    Scott Davie
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Losing the opening goal was bad enough for Derek McInnes but the manner Aberdeen gave it up would have been really frustrating for their manager.

Of course, it just had to be Louis Moult who the Dons tried to sign in the summer but the way he was left unmarked to head his 13th of the season from a long range Richard Tait free kick was really slack.

  11. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Alasdair Lamont
BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

A bit of a let-down this first half and still St Johnstone’s search for a goal goes on. If they fail to score today, it’ll be a seven-game drought.

Still, given their run of games without a victory, they’ll be satisfied enough being level at the break.

And they had the best effort of the first period, with Liam Craig being denied by a wonderful save from Ofir Marciano.

    Jonathan Sutherland

The first half has been utterly uneventful, with both sides cancelling each other out. On a cold day for the watching fan there has been precious little for them to get excited about.

Killie's Jordan Jones fired a shot over the bar, and at the other end, Marcus Haber had a header easily saved by Jamie MacDonald. But it will take a lot more than that to heat up this tepid affair.

    Hibernian 0-0 St Johnstone

Best chance of the game so far, and it goes to the visitors. Liam Craig is teed up by Michael O'Halloran, but his left-foot shot is brilliantly tipped onto the crossbar by Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano.
