  2. Murty explains absencespublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Rangers v Hamilton (15:00)

Rangers interim manager Graeme Murty: "[Declan John's] ill, he's taken ill overnight and it's not fair to risk him so we've excluded him medically and Lee Hodson will come in and take that position for us.

"[Fabio Cardoso] needs more conditioning. We'll build him up and build him up. It's important that we don't try and do it soon because that's the time you put players at risk.

"[Bruno Alves] had a fall in training this week and hurt his back so his back's feeling really stiff so we've excluded him on those grounds and we'll assess him further later in the week.

"[Hamilton] were very dangerous on the break against Aberdeen. We expect them to be really well organised. We expect a really tough game.

"We're not here to give them any hope - give them no hope throughout. Just get them pinned back and be relaxed about it. If we do that then we can have a good day."

    Rangers v Hamilton Academical (15:00)

One change for the home side, who bring in Lee Hodson for Declan John at left-back, while Accies stick with the same side that started the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen.

Can caretaker boss Graeme Murty make it three wins in a row? That's something previous manager Pedro Caixinha never managed and that's why he is a former manager at Ibrox.

  5. 'Moment of magic' from Griffithspublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    FT: Ross County 0-1 Celtic

"It's a very good win for us on the back of an international break," Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Radio Scotland. "The surface wasn't great and it slowed our tempo down.

"We didn't work the goalkeeper much in the first half but I thought we should have had a penalty; Callum McGregor was clearly impeded as he shaped to shoot.

"It's a moment of magic that wins the game. Their goalkeeper had a great game with his hands but it's right in the top corner from Leigh."

  7. Daunting run for Motherwellpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Aberdeen v Motherwell (15:00)

    Scott Davie
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Motherwell insists they won't be distracted by next weekend's League Cup Final against Celtic which is just as well as they have lost five in a row at Pittodrie including a 7-2 drubbing in February.

This is the start of a really tough sequence of games for the Steelmen as they face Celtic three times on the trot with home and away league matches to follow the final but they did beat Aberdeen on their cup run.

That was one of only two domestic defeats suffered by the Dons this season as they look to keep the pressure on Celtic at the top.
