Kieran Tierney has packed a lot in for one so young and today marks his 100th appearance for Celtic.

The 20-year-old left-back recently signed a new six-year deal and captained Scotland for the first time in last week's friendly loss to the Netherlands.

He also goes into today's game fresh from his player of the month for October award. He just might pick up a few more of those over the years to come.

  2. 'Celtic must keep pushing on'published at 12:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Ross County v Celtic (12:30)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Radio Scotland: "I didn't feel there was any need for changes today. We don't play again until Wednesday (away to PSG). Momentum is important and we don't want to give anything up easy. We know it will be a tough game and we are focused on victory. We have a winning mindset, that's not an accident, but it's important to keep pushing on.

"It's part of my job to hook into the players' emotions and it's fairly simple here since there is an incredible legacy at the club. You need to find creative ways to provide a stimulus for the players."

  3. Can Coyle cause an upset?published at 12:17 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Ross County v Celtic (12:30)

Owen Coyle spent a decade away from Scotland and has only managed a team against his boyhood heroes Celtic once before, losing 2-1 in a Scottish Cup semi-final with St Johnstone back in 2007.

He has overseen six matches with Ross County since replacing Jim McIntyre, winning three and drawing once.

"It's another home game and any home game we need to look for a positive result," he said yesterday. "No matter if it's Celtic or whoever, we need to be looking for three points."

  4. It could have been different for Coylepublished at 12:14 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Ross County v Celtic (12:30)

Staggies boss Owen Coyle once turned down the chance to manage Celtic.

He was approached in the summer of 2009 when Gordon Strachan stepped down but decided to stay at Burnley.

Has he had the odd sleepless night about that decision? The 51-year-old is so relentlessly upbeat he probably doesn't have time for regrets.

  12. Rodgers in reach of recordpublished at 11:47 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Ross County v Celtic (12:30)

Celtic established a new British record on their last league outing, making it a whopping 63 games unbeaten in domestic action. Today, manager Brendan Rodgers can claim a record of his own since the first game of that sequence came under his predecessor Ronny Deila.

The champions are first up today, with a visit to Ross County.

How likely is a slip up? Celtic have won each of their past nine away league matches, keeping six clean sheets, netting 29 times and conceding just three goals.
