  1. goal

    GOAL Paris St-Germain 7-1published at 80 mins

    Dani Alves

Wow! Dani Alves gathers the ball 22 yards out and with barely any backlift takes aim for the top corner. It's inch perfect too as Craig Gordon can only flap at the air and watch it sail in.

Top class from the Brazilian right-back.

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

"The finishing from the PSG players has been fantastic, top notch. Yes, the runners are going down the left and Celtic can’t compete with those runners, but Cavani, on the volley, again across the goalkeeper – absolutely perfect. You couldn’t get a better finish."

    Edinson Cavani

Now it's getting messy as PSG set a new group stage goals record with 12 minutes and another game to come.

They're up to 23 for the competition as Edinson Cavani cracks in a great volley - via the base of the post - from a delightful Javier Pastore cross.

Corentin Tolisso allows Celtic's supporters to breathe a little easier, as the Frenchman nudges Bayern Munich ahead against Anderlecht once more, and as things stand, preserve Celtic's three-point advantage over the Belgian champions.

GOAL Paris St-Germain 5-1 Celticpublished at 74 mins

    Marco Verratti

Another goal has been coming a Celtic begin to tire. Kylian Mbappe shows Kieran Tierney a clean pair of heels and his low cross is cut out Dedryck Boyata but only as a far as Marco Verratti, who drills a low shot into the far corner.

Hat-trick for Neymar? The Brazilian weaves his way past a couple of last-ditch lunges as Kylian Mbappe threads a pass through the legs of Dedryck Boyata but Kieran Tierney manages to get a foot in just before the Brazilian pulls the trigger.

PSG may not have been as clinical in the second half but some of their play is a joy to watch. Dani Alves continues to set the standard for attacking full-backs and Adrien Rabiot is such a graceful player. He has the makings of one of the best midfielders in the world for many years to come.

Kouassie Eboue gets his first taste of the Champions League as a replacement for Olivier Ntcham. It seems like a very long time ago now that the Frenchman set up the opening goal with Celtic's first touch of the ball.

The home side make a change but there's no rest for any the superstar attacking trio yet as Germany's Julian Draxler is replaced by Argentina midfielder Javier Pastore.

    Paris St-Germain 4-1 Celtic

Celtic are caught with players up the pitch and suddenly the classy Adrien Rabiot is gliding forward to release Kylian Mbappe on the right. If the striker can pick out Neymar with a square pass it's a goal, but no, there's too much fizz on the ball for the Brazilian to connect.

  12. Anderlecht draw levelpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2017

    Anderlecht 1-1 Bayern Munich

There will be some very nervous Celtic fans right about now - Sofiane Hanni has levelled things up for the Belgian champions against Bayern Munich. As things stand, they will pick up their first point of the group stage, and sit two behind Celtic ahead of their showdown in Glasgow.

    Paris St-Germain 4-1 Celtic

Now goalkeeper Craig Gordon is joining in with the poor passing as his effort is partially blocked by Dani Alves and falls to Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan goes for glory from a very tight angle rather than picking out Kylian Mbappe in front of goal with a simple pass.

Paul Thorburn:#Celtic, external getting an absolute doing here. As good as #PSG, external are the defending is so poor!

Andru Blakk: Think what annoys me is how easy their goals were. 3 of them were completely avoidable.

"I really would hate to think it’s fear, but Boyata and Bitton delay things in the box, then Boyata just passes the ball away in midfield, and Cavani has all the space to control, turn and volley over the crossbar. I hope it’s not fear."

Celtic captain Scott Brown takes a break from scrapping in the engine room to pop up on the right flank and he delivers a delicious curling pass for Moussa Dembele to race on to. "That Lewandowski goal is a big relief for Celtic. They’re almost, talking about parking the bus, going with a back-five, with four in front of them and Dembele up front.

"They’re not really pressing the ball at all high up the pitch, so they’re hoping to get out of this one without any more goals conceded."
