  1. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-2 Chelseapublished at 92 mins

    Hector Bellerin (Arsenal)

Great drama. Arsenal have saved themselves. Maybe.

It comes with a cross into the box and Marcos Alonso, who had looked like being the matchwinner, fails to properly head clear. It falls to Hector Bellerin, who catches it on the half-volley, it is a great strike, it beats Thibaut Courtois and we are level. Incredible stuff.

Ayodeji Prime: Wenger's outdated. He's lost again. Never proactive, always reactive. He'll blame the referee. I'm sure.

Shuga: I think Cech has lost his reflexes, can't remember the last time he saved any point for Arsenal.

Princewill Nwosu: Only Wenger will sub his record signing when he needs goals in a match... clueless!!

    Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea

"There's only one team in London," sing the Chelsea fans, taunting the home supporters. This win would take Chelsea up to second, while Arsenal would remain sixth, one place behind Tottenham.

    Into injury-time.

This has massive connotations for Arsenal. 'We got you in front and created chances and we have still lost. If there is no investment, we might as well leave'.

    Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

He is not looking for anyone in particular. Petr Cech had no chance. It is down to concentration, first Maitland-Niles and then Mustafi for getting beaten to the ball.

  9. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-2 Chelseapublished at 84 mins

    Marcos Alonso (Chelsea)

Willian is involved in the build-up to the goal as he plays a raking pass out to Davide Zappacosta, who is able to get past Ainsley Maitland-Niles far too easily to get in the cross.

Marcos Alonso gets in front of Shkodran Mustafi and steers it into the net. Arsenal look to have thrown this one away. 1-0 up, now 1-2 down.

Brett Mills: 1-1 in the scoreline, 1-1 in injustices for the game, nice and even

Cefca Palazzo: If a player was booked everytime they "were already on their way down", every match would be abandoned for not having enough players.

Luke Gibbons: Both managers have reason to complain about more poor officiating in the Premier League. Surely it has to get sorted soon?

  12. SUBSTITUTION - Welbeck on for Lacazette (Arsenal)published at 81 mins

    Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea

Alexandre Lacazette has twice been denied by Thibaut Courtois and there will be no goal for him today, that's seven in a row he has not scored in. Danny Welbeck is the first man Arsene Wenger looks to.

To me, none of the controversies have mattered. What an absolutely brilliant game to watch. Helped by some shocking passing and shocking misses mind... but still utterly brilliant to watch.

    George, Edinburgh

Is there anything more synonymous with Arsenal in the last 10 years than the matter of minutes in which it takes Wenger's face to go from jubilation to despair during a game?

Better from Alvaro Morata as he takes on, and beats Shkodran Mustafi. Morata slides a low cross across the face of goal but Petr Cech dives on to it, just as Eden Hazard was waiting to pounce.

Great goal by Wilshere but he shouldn’t have been on the pitch...should’ve been sent off for diving!

    Rob Diamond

Can you please ask Wenger after the game if he thinks Wilshere should have been on the pitch? Because I can guarantee he won’t have seen that

    James, Herts

Absolute disgrace Wilshire shouldn't be on the pitch...ref costing Chelsea here

James Watson: Hazard deceived the referee. Slight contact and threw himself to the ground. Ban him!

Elliott Cook: Arsenal always defending dangerously, but another shocking decision could quite well cost us another two points.

Russ Hyde: Cheating! Plain and simple! If that is what counts as a penalty in today’s game then it is a sorry state of affairs. Vinnie Jones would be looking at season-long bans if he were playing today!

    Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea

Another bad miss from Alvaro Morata. It is not as bad as the one in the first half when he was through on goal, but it is another one you would expect him to score.

Morata gets the wrong side of Rob Holding, but the Englishman maintains pressure on Morata and the attempted dink over the keeper goes just off target.

Antonio Conte is furious. Absolutely furious. He collapses to the floor and bangs the floor in frustration. That's what this game means.
