Liverpool have only lost one of their last nine Premier League games in which they've been trailing by a single goal at half-time (W4 D4), with that defeat coming at Hull in Feb 2017.

Swansea have hung in there and rode the luck. Liverpool missed two good chances but Swansea have taken advantage of it. They've defended well then scored from a set-piece. These kind of results can turn things around for you. How many times did we see Swansea nick results like this under Paul Clement last season?

Are Liverpool really going to go from beating the team at the top of the table to losing to the one at the bottom in successive games? They've been far from their best.

Quick counter by Liverpool, Mohamed Salah is away on the left. Sadio Mane bursts into the area and Salah picks his team-mate out perfectly, got to be a goal!? No, Mane volleys wide!

I was going to say Swansea would be delighted to go in 0-0 at half-time. Then all of a sudden they're 1-0 up. What a massive bonus!

Tempers flare as Jordan Ayew and Andrew Robertson come together. Neil Swarbrick feels Robertson plays a bigger role in that clash and books the Liverpool defender.

Seconds later, Joel Matip flies in hard and late on a Swansea player and it's another yellow card for a Liverpool player.

Here's an odd one. Federico Fernández has a bloody nose. It looks like he was celebrating too much as he jumped on Alfie Mawson and smacked his head straight into Mawson's shoulder.

Van Dijk couldn't get the distance on the header and Alfie Mawson hits a great strike on the half-volley, on the half-turn.

Storm weathered, Swansea looking to attack now? Martin Olsson whips in a fine cross, Virgil van Dijk takes no chances and volleys behind for a corner.

A mistake by Joe Gomez gives Swansea the opportunity to counter but Gomez recovers well. Still, the Liverpool man has had a couple of shaky moments.

Swansea have to make the most of these positions. They're wide-right, with Kyle Naughton forward, and they may not get many opportunities tonight so they're relying on good delivery into the box

Ok now, this is a chance for Swansea. A rare attack sees them win a free-kick on the right side of the box.

Lots of Swansea players up for this one. Good delivery by Ki Sung-yueng, Virgil van Dijk heads away before Kyle Naughton volleys well over.

Mohamed Salah is starting to get more involved and he clips a great ball to put Joel Matip through. It's just behind the defender and he acrobatically attempts to hook it across to Sadio Mane. Swansea half clear before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's shot from distance is held by Lukasz Fabianski.
