“He is Turkey’s No.1 striker and has scored goals in the Champions League and the Turkish League but he is desperate to play here in the Premier League.

“He is an all-rounder, with good movement. He is two-footed, perhaps not the biggest but he’s very efficient in the air and in the box he gets good space to get his head on the ball.

Mason Holgate was involved in an altercation with Roberto Firmino late in the first half.

At first we thought Roberto Firmino had spat at Mason Holgate, but it is clear he doesn't.

If you watch Holgate, he could have got a yellow card and has manhandled the referee after that.

Maybe something has been said with the way he grabbed the referee, but we don't know.

Mason Holgate was incensed in that altercation with Roberto Firmino - if we find out any more about what that was all about we'll let you know...

Only in the last 10 minutes did it become a very good cup tie, before then it was slow and all pretty dull but it definitely livened up in the last 10 minutes.

Jurgen Klopp was moaning about the soft penalty in the derby last match and if he thought that was soft, then this is soft.

Football is a contact sport, you can touch someone without it being a penalty. I don't think that is a penalty at all. There is no way that is a penalty.

As far as full-back performances for a lower-league side at Old Trafford, you won't get much more attacking than Marcus Olsson for Derby tonight..
