Rob: Perhaps Matt could reference the relevant scientific research? Then explain why it is ok for the majority of Premier League players to perform again within 48 hours. Salah injured, Coutinho to be sold, that's all.
Stoke v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)
Just what is going on here?
Bring your own tea! I like it.
Are you brewing up for the stand?!
Stoke v Newcastle (15.00 GMT)
Danny Mills
Former England defender on Final Score
A win today can take Stoke 13th, which is okay, that's where they should be. If they lose, Newcastle will go above them and it puts Mark Hughes in a very difficult position. They do seem able to get a victory when they've needed to and that's how it's been for them so far this season.
Stoke v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)
It's 2018 and Peter Crouch is in the starting line-up in the Premier League. That's a good start to the year in my book.
Leicester v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)
Flag waving time at the King Power. Huddersfield are quietly unbeaten in their last four Premier League games (W1 D3) – their longest streak in the competition.

Ash: We have a high intensity style of play, we played Leicester two days ago and it was hard-fought. Is anyone actually genuinely surprised at rotating a squad? Salah has a knock, Coutinho has... something... and according to Nike he's confused about what colour kit to wear.
Stoke v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)
The weather is barely more palatable at Stoke, where one Newcastle fan is wearing an incredible green hat. Is that one of the muppets?

Matt: When, oh when, will fans, pundits and journalists ever learn that it is scientifically impossible for top level footballers' bodies to properly recover within 48 hours? There's a reason why Europa League teams play on Sundays, after Thursdays. Klopp is entirely justified. Up the Reds!
Burnley v Liverpool (15:00 GMT)
It's absolutely sheeting it down in Burnley now too. I'm often wrong, very wrong, but I'm predicting a good game at Turf Moor.
Adam Lallana's World Cup year starts here?

Mark: If Burnley play as they can there is a minor upset on the cards here. Liverpool's big two will be missed, particularly Mo Salah.
Graham: The usual moaning from non-Scouse Liverpool fans about the line up today. Friday night is a far bigger game.
Leicester v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)
Jamie Vardy misses out for Leicester today with a groin injury but he's down pitchside having a chat with some club staff. His absence will change the whole dynamic of Leicester's attack. Islam Slimani is many things but he's not a head down, chase lost causes sort of man.

If Liverpool fail to win Klopp will be in for it. Strange team choice, Burnley away is a very tough game!
Gavin, Beds
Mignolet is captain. MIGNOLET IS CAPTAIN. Says it all really.

TJ: Decent XI, Both Salah and Coutinho picked up knocks against Leicester. Firmino is rested too, Phil and Bobby usually get rested together. Absolutely no drama
Samuel Butler: Are managers purposely picking their teams to annoy hungover fantasy league players up and down the country today?
Brighton 2-2 Bournemouth
Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live
An incredible game. If you're Chris Hughton you're wondering how you didn't get all three points but Bournemouth really stuck in there. I think it's two points dropped for Brighton - they need to start taking their chances if they want to stay in the Premier League.
I feel the way Bournemouth play they will win enough games, with Brighton the longer it goes on I would worry about them. They have to start turning draws into wins, it can be a very cruel league.
Burnley v Liverpool (15:00 GMT)
A Burnley win would take them level on points with Spurs and they will fancy their chances today - especially after seeing that Liverpool team sheet.
Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gini Wijnaldum and Dominic Solanke are no mugs to bring in - but most Liverpool fans will miss Coutinho, Salah and Firmino...
Stoke v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

Totum: So we are only playing the Fab one today? Oh dear. And Mane, playing a solo gig, on current form is the Sir Ringo Starr of the group
Not even the best drummer in the band?
Brighton 2-2 Bournemouth
All over at the Amex - a humdinger of a game. Like a Cup tie when Cup ties used to be good.
