Game of the season? If we top this between now and May I'll be pleasantly surprised. Liverpool have been sensational in this second half.

What a great signing Mo Salah has been for Liverpool. He'll be right up there in the PFA Player of the Year awards, as will so many of the players on the park at Anfield today.

Yep, this defeat - if it is one - does nothing for Manchester City's title hopes. They are so far clear of the rest they are barely visible.

Everyone needs to get a grip. City's first loss this season and suddenly everyone knows how to beat them. Great performance by Liverpool, poor from City.

    Liverpool 4-2 Man City

Bernardo Silva on his left-foot, great play from Sergio Aguero on the edge of the box, and it's fallen to Silva who's slotted it away nicely, Loris Karius had no chance with that one.

    Bernardo Silva

Almost silence inside Anfield as City get one back. Surely not...?

Ilkay Gundogan plays a one two and gets into the area, his shot is charged down by Joel Matip but it runs into the path of Bernardo Silva, who sweeps home.

Helles: The City players are obviously rattled and close to losing it, they will have nightmares of Liverpool players following them everywhere for weeks to come...

James: Man City showing that when not in control of the match they crumble. Awful performance. Ederson has looked like Claudio Bravo of last season.

Emre Can has been brilliant today. A fantastic performance from him, Gini Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a midfield three. They've absolutely overran Man City today.

  14. CLOSE!published at 78 mins

    Liverpool 4-1 Man City

If you're just tuning in, and our traffic is through the roof, yes it really is 4-1 to Liverpool!

Three quarters of Anfield are singing the name of left-back Andrew Robertson, it's all a bit surreal. He's been brilliant today.

There's a chance though, Kevin de Bruyne flashing in a superb cross and Nicolas Otamendi can't meet it with a clean volley.

Ever since a friend of mine said he couldn't believe Otamendi had made the most passes in the league this season his world has fallen apart. He's had a shocker.

Brilliant from Andrew Robertson. He's closed down every Man City defender on the pitch there, and he's unlucky to give away the free-kick. The Kop absolutely loved that.
