Wow! World class finish! John Stones cannot be shrugged off the ball there if you're a England centre-half. Roberto Firmino has nudged Stones off the ball and then he has the audacity to dink the ball over the oncoming Ederson. What a brilliant finish.

It's still relentless. Kyle Walker's header clear is not great and Sadio Mane dives on it, working a yard of space and shooting but well charged down by John Stones.

Two great saves from Ederson. He's made the save from Mo Salah from the corner, and then at his near post to deny Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

And now almost a fluke from Mo Salah, hitting a cross into the wind and watching it float over Ederson's head and on to the top of the bar!

Sadio Mane wins a corner well again, Ederson can only palm it don and Mo Salah's shot is pushed clear by the Brazilian.

Liverpool work it to their left, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gets a shot off and Ederson makes another good save down to his right!

It's been a good battle down Liverpool's right side, and so far Andy Robertson is beating Raheem Sterling for me. The left-back has good pace and awareness, and he's had the better of Sterling so far.

Almost! Kevin de Bruyne's influence is growing and he flashes another good ball in from the right, Joel Matip does really well to prevent Sergio Aguero from finding it though.

At the other end, Emre Can almost plays in Roberto Firmino, but Ederson is out of his area to clear. On a knife edge.

This game is being played at such a high pace. Looking back at Man City's goal, Joe Gomez was poor letting Leroy Sane get on the ball, then Joel Matip was poor letting Sane get round him, and then Loris Karius was poor with the attempted save. It was a few errors in quick succession, and that will infuriate Jurgen Klopp.

Good work from Sadio Mane on the left to win Liverpool a corner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's delivery sis a good one but it skips through the goalmouth.
