You've got to say that's good defending there - Jonny Evans making up for his earlier mistake. It's the fifth or sixth chance Liverpool have had already. What a game!

This game is simply incredible.
Mo Salah takes the ball down in the box, skips past Ben Foster but he is pushed wide.
He passes it back to Roberto Firmino but the Brazilian's shot is blocked by Evans and is away for a corner.

This is ridiculous. Regardless of the fact that I think both VAR decisions were wrong, this is interrupting what was looking like an amazing game of cup football. Please can we not keep this ridiculous addition to the game.

So much drama - it's stunning here. It's been an extraordinary start to a game of football. There's enough talking points for three games of football.
I wish the fans inside the stadium knew what was going on, because they'd be absolutely loving it.

Liverpool could have been 3-1 down, and now with VAR, they could be 2-2. If I was watching that back, I'd be saying that's a penalty, there's a clear drag back. A lot of people will be hating this - but boy is there a lot of tension - the theatre is quite incredible!

I'm thinking the goalkeeper is absolutely being stopped from going to get the ball there. Simon Mignolet didn't come out at all, he had a player in front of him, he was stopped from coming out. They've looked at it - and they think it's a block.
