  2. 'We didn't do enough'published at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Stoke

    Leicester City

Leicester City Manager Claude Puel speaking Sky Sports:

On his team's performance: "We didn’t play forward enough. It was better in the second half. And with the goal, sometimes you are lucky. We needed to have more desire to score, to get into the box. It was not a good game. Sometimes, good situations, good moves, but not enough consistency."

On his side's equaliser: "A good feeling to come back after a fantastic move. We continued to make good chances. A fantastic save form the goalkeeper, congratulations to him. It was more a less a fair result because we didn't do enough to score another. It was not enough."

  3. 'Shaqiri is a real world class footballer'published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Stoke

Stoke City manager Paul Lambert speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we were outstanding and played ever so well. The longer it went on we looked great and looked a threat on the counter-attack. When you've got Shaqiri in his form, you've got a chance.

I think he's a real world class footballer, he makes things happen. I couldn't faulty the team we looked strong in every department.

Any blame for Jack Butland's mistake: "None whatsoever he is the best goalkeeper in Britain, absolutely fabulous. It will be the making of him. You dust yourself down and pick yourself up and it's how you react to these things. It’s not the first or last mistake he will make."

  4. 'We needed three points'published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Stoke

    Stoke City

Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen speaking to Sky Sports:

On the result: "At the stage where we need three points from every game, to not come away with that today is naturally disappointing."

On their performance: "Up until their goal, we dealt with everything comfortably and they were frustrated. Obviously their goal gave them a boost and it flipped the game on its head with us holding on in the last 15 minutes or so, with a couple of openings on the break. But to come here and get a draw it’s not a bad point."

On Jack Butland: "Jack pulled off a great save moments later so that cancels that out. We’re not going to feel sorry for ourselves and make excuses. From our point of view. It is about getting to points, we need to get out of trouble and hopefully we can do that with a few games to spare."

On training: "We’re working every day to improve ourselves, especially defensively. It was really our Achilles heel. The signs from our general play are encouraging, we just need points now."

  5. 'A draw is fair'published at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Stoke

Leicester boss Claude Puel: "Not enough to win today. We could have, but we could also have lost so perhaps a draw is fair. Their goalkeeper made some good saves, but we also conceded chances.

“I thought we started well, with intensity, but it became too slow to find space. It was better second half, but without a clinical edge or a little luck to find a winning goal.”

  6. 'Butland still the best keeper in Britain'published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Leicester 1-1 Stoke

Stoke boss Paul Lambert on Jack Butland: "He is the best goalkeeper in Britain at the minute. He will make mistakes and sometimes these things make you strong. He made a brilliant save soon after that. I have no fear about Jack Butland because he is a top goalkeeper."

  7. Postpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Stoke boss Paul Lambert: "It's mixed emotions. I felt we deserved to win the game. We had great chances to win it but Leicester were champions a couple of years ago, they are a top side."

Riyad Mahrez is not having the game he usually does. He's just been a bit below par. He was through one v one and he took too long. That's usually a chance he puts away.

I'm not sure I can describe what happened after that.
