  1. How to do a football initiation songpublished at 10:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Shrewsbury fans will be hoping new signing Sam Jones is as good on the pitch as his voice is off it.

The midfielder, who joined the League One side on deadline day, stepped up to do his initiation song last night and instead of warbling an embarrassing effort of Wonderwall it turned out he actually has the sort of voice that would put plenty of X-Factor contestants to shame.

Jones belted out a quite superb rendition of Bob Marley's Is This Love that blew his team-mates away. Sensational effort.

  2. The scrap for survivalpublished at 10:14 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Just one of the top six teams in action today but, let's be honest, it's all about the incredible battle at the bottom of the table.

Just four points separate the eight teams from 11th down to 18th, meaning half the Premier League can be considered in a relegation battle.

West Brom, Stoke and Southampton are the three sides currently in the bottom three but there's sure to be plenty of twists and turns to come, potentially starting today.

    27 February, 2016.

That's the last time Saido Berahino scored a competitive goal. It was a belter, too, a sweet volley into the bottom corner for former club West Brom to seal a 3-2 win against Crystal Palace.

Forty four games have come and gone since then with Berahino failing to find failing to find the net.

The striker is in danger of breaching the Trades Description Act.

How Stoke could do with him finding his scoring boots once again as they look to get out of the relegation zone.

  5. Will the wait go on?published at 10:00 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

A year is a long time in football.

In the past 365 days alone, Chelsea have gone from winning the Premier League to just about clinging on to a top four place, Sunderland have gone from the top flight to the bottom of the Championship and Leeds are on to their third manager.

But if a year is a long time in football, then two years is an age.

It certainly must feel that way for Saido Berahino because if he fails to score today, then that's how long it will be since the Stoke striker last scored a goal.
