Stoke are defending quite deep not giving Jamie Vardy space to run into and Leicester are crossing a lot of balls in. So Stoke are winning that battle at the moment.

Need to be making the most of these.

Half a chance for Leicester as Riyad Mahrez - following Leicester's sixth corner of the game - finds a bit of space to get a shot off. Not enough power to trouble Jack Butland, however.

In fact, we've had almost as many bookings as we have had touches inside the box as Mame Biram Diouf becomes the third player to get a yellow card for a heavy challenge on Riyad Mahrez.

Scrappy is very much the word.

It's very scrappy between both boxes. Both defences are on top and each needs to do better with their attacking efforts.

Neither team has shown any quality in the final third. It's been a pretty poor game.

Not much in the way of goal action so far. Both sides have had a whopping two touches inside the respective boxes.

Wilfred Ndidi lofts the ball forward for Jamie Vardy to chase. The striker puts Kurt Zouma under pressure, the dazzling sun causing Zouma a bit of concern as he tries to deal with it but eventually the defender clears.

That sums Leicester up so far. Showing plenty of enterprise but then being lazy or sloppy with their final pass. That needs to be a lot better if they want to open teams up in the Premier League.

Stoke manager Paul Lambert is kicking every ball in his technical area. He has been very animated so far in his blue track suit.

Leicester boss Claude Puel looks far more relaxed (and suave) in his dark suit.

Pressure mounting on that Stoke goal as Leicester win their fifth corner of the game after some excellent work by Riyad Mahrez.

It's played short, Mahrez loses possession and Marc Albrighton is booked as he prevents Xherdan Shaqiri from breaking on the counter.

That was good play from Stoke. It was their first real attack - they got down the right and Badou Ndiaye gets the ball and it's decent shot from 20-25 yards that was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

Clever turn on the left by Marc Albrighton catches out two Stoke players but his cross is headed away. Leicester pick up the loose ball and resume the attack, with Konstantinos Stafylidis eventually having to put behind for another Stoke corner.

Although Stoke would obviously love to sneak a win and it is the visitors who have the first shot on target.

Riyahd Mahrez is caught in possession and Badou Ndiaye shoots from outside the box but Kasper Schmeichel saves relatively comfortably.

Not a classic 10 minutes of football so far it has to be said, but Stoke appear to have dealt with that early bit of Leicester pressure.

Just one point from the last 21 available away from home for Stoke. If it stays like this until the final whistle the visitors will probably be fairly happy.

Scrappy stuff at the moment as Joe Allen dives in wildly on Wilfred Ndidi. The Stoke midfielder is booked, Leicester have a free-kick but Marc Albrighton over hits it.

Stoke have a free-kick as Danny Simpson brings down Mame Biram Diouf. It's 30 yards from goal and Moritz Bauer sends it to the back post for Geoff Cameron but it's a touch too long for the Stoke defender and Leicester have the goal kick.

Riyad Mahrez cuts in from the right and curls an effort towards the far post, just wide.

Stoke have barely had a touch of the ball. In fact, I'm pretty sure they've haven't put a single pass together yet.

Riyad Mahrez is looking very, very lively in these early stages. He tries to find Jamie Vardy with a ball over the defence but Jack Butland is first to it.
