You don't need anything else going wrong when you are bottom of the table like West Brom. Gareth Barry is a friend of mine, he has not put a foot wrong for his whole career and then he was involved in that incident (accusations of stealing a taxi in Barcelona). He must have thought why did I bother?

The Baggies have put more pressure on themselves because everyone is looking now.

West Brom v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

West Brom are out in tunnel ready, poised early. This is a massive game for them. Smiles on the face of Ben Foster but Gareth Barry looks a touch tense.

  3. 'Moyes drawing out flair players'published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Liverpool v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Marko Arnautovic started the season and wasn't quite at it but David Moyes is now getting the best out of the more creative players. Javier Hernandez has scored two in his last two games and in Arnautovic we are seeing the player we know he is.

Going to Anfield will be difficult for West Ham, they may have to play a different style but when you've got Hernandez and Arnautovic, they can get something for you.

A big 90 minutes ahead. Huge for West Brom.

Kyle: I'm glad Rafa has picked the same 11 as they were all outstanding against Manchester United. Hopefully they can back it up and we can get back to back wins which would be massive at this stage in the season.

  6. 'Fight until the end'published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

    Newcastle United

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez: "For us, every game is like a final. When you are playing so well against the top sides, you expect to do well against other teams. But we have to focus and try to get three points.

"If you lose, you must stay calm. It is so tight. Three points would be massive for both teams, but you just have to stay calm and fight right until the end of the season."

  7. A head for heightspublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

    Newcastle United

Newcastle have lost just one of their past seven league games - they've won two, drawn the other four.

BUT - they have been defeated in all five of their away games against teams currently in the top half of the table.

Bournemouth just about make that - they are in tenth.

  8. 'Swansea fans should thank me...'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender and BBC football expert

I get stick from Swansea fans every time I pick them to lose but they should probably thank me for doing that because, every time I do, they win.

So, the bad news for Swans supporters is that I am backing them to get a draw this time.

    Prediction:1-1

  9. 'We are fighting hard'published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Swansea City

Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal: "It is normal in this competition, there are not many differences between the teams.

"Some start well and then lose points, we did not start well but are getting points in the last period.

"This is a marathon and at the end the real place of the clubs will be there; the worst will be bottom and the best will be top and we are fighting hard not to be in the bottom three."

    Swansea City

That is one more than they managed in their first 20 before his appointment.

  11. 'Character & attitude most important'published at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Southampton

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino: "Every single victory helps us to believe in our way and our model. This, for me, is the best drug for this team.

"I believe in the character and attitude of my team, and that is the most important thing right now.

"(After Burnley) we have a lot of away games and have to be really stronger than before."

Despite residing in the bottom three, Southampton can boast more recent positives than Burnley.

Since losing to Crystal Palace in the opening week of 2018, they've lost just once more in eight matches, with an encouraging FA Cup run helping to improve previously flagging confidence.

They'd still happily swap places with the Clarets, whose Premier League status has been all but assured by a brilliant start to the campaign which left them as high as fourth in early December.

A catalogue of injuries has since hampered their pleasant dreams of European football, but pressure-free, keen to end their 10-game winless run and with several key players now returning, they will certainly test the Saints' newfound resolve.

  13. 'We're not the real deal'published at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "We're definitely not the real deal, we're a squad that are learning and improving, and with that you sometimes get these challenges that come your way of a tough run, bad run - whichever words you choose.

"In regard of the team the literal challenge is the next game, but in the bigger picture it is to be better than last season.

"I think we have been by our performances; now it's about turning our performances into points on the board."

  14. Bottom of the form tablepublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Burnley

It's been something of a slide from grace. Burnley have gone 10 Premier League games without a win - the longest run in the division right now. Their tally of five points over that period is also the lowest in the league.

Will there be a turnaround today?

Swansea's first visit to The Amex brings together two in-form sides. Brighton are unbeaten in five games, whilst Swansea haven't lost in 10 - both runs are including their FA Cup exploits.

Carlos Carvalhal, who won a play-off semi-final at Brighton with Sheffield Wednesday, has instilled belief into his squad with a dramatic transformation and charmed the media with both Portuguese cakes and some memorable quotes. Swansea's American owners seem - finally - to have got something right.

Brighton have been steady in the Premier League from the very first day, and that is testament to the wisdom and inner calm of the admirable Chris Hughton. Their longest run without a point this season is three games - meaning a blip has never been allowed to become a slump

  17. 'Another massive game'published at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Chris Hughton: "It's another massive game this weekend but they all are. The change in manager has changed Swansea's mood, and wins against big sides have spurred them on.

"It'll be a game against a very well-organised side. They have a new shape and good players.

"But we're at home and there's an onus on us to push to win. We're in good form."

  18. Fortress Amexpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Brighton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are on a very handy run at the minute - they are unbeaten in their past five matches in all competitions, winning three and drawing two.

They've also been very solid at home this season - only Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have beaten them in the league.

  19. A left field pick?published at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender and BBC football expert

It is a bit left field for me to say Burnley are going to score twice, because they have only managed it four times in 27 league games this season, but that is what I am going with.

    Prediction: 2-1

  20. Leaving it latepublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

    Burnley v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Burnley

A third of Burnley's 21 league goals this season have come in the final 10 minutes of matches, the highest ratio in the division.

Those seven goals have earned the Clarets two wins and four draws.
