  1. 'Hennessey's spread himself like Schmeichel'published at 12:11 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Well, well, this is quite a magnificent save from Wayne Hennessey. The ball's come out to Harry Kane about five yards out, and you just expect him to score, but Hennessey's spread himself like Peter Schmeichel.

  2. GOOD SAVE!published at 10 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Another terrible blunder at the back! Patrick van Aanholt shanks a mis-control right to Harry Kane - about four yards out from goal, and Wayne Hennessey makes himself big to deflect over the bar.

Surely he scores that, the England striker...

  3. 'That could have been a penalty'published at 12:10 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

That could be a penalty because Ben Davies has got there first to cross it in first-time and Wayne Hennessey has taken him out, without getting any of the ball. I'd like to have another look at that.

  4. CHANCE!published at 12:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Here's Christian Eriksen, he dinks in a free-kick to the back post. Looks innocuous enough but there is a huge mix-up - almost disastrous for Palace.

Ben Davies steals in as Wayne Hennessey hesitates to claim the cross - despite I think him shouting for it. Andros Townsend could have hooked clear but stopped because of that.

Luckily they manage to hack clear and Davies took a tumble...

  5. 'Zaha will be a big miss'published at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

There's not much movement or pace up top for Crystal Palace without Wilfried Zaha, it means there's no-one to hit over the top for the midfielders. Zaha is the real fulcrum of this side, and he'll be a big miss.

  6. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Here's Christian Benteke with a sloppy touch in the middle that lets in Mousa Dembele to steal away possession.

I have a theory that Dembele operates in a physical dimension quite different to our own. It's the only possible explanation. No human has that acceleration. Can any scientists help? Something to do with string theory?

  7. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Dele Alli stretches the Palace backline and James Tomkins has to nod clear a searching through ball. Another corner. Erik Lamela to deliver this one - boomed clear by Christian Benteke.

Just two goals Benteke's scored in 21 league games this season by the way.

  8. 'Equally important for both'published at 12:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

We've found since the turn of the year, every game has something riding on it, whether it be at the top or at the bottom. There's been very few dead rubbers, and this one is no exception, this game is equally as important for Crystal Palace as it is for Tottenham.

  9. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Vincent Wanyama is penalised early for a foul in the middle and Palace don't launch the free-kick, they play it short. Jairo Riedewald wriggles down the left and wins a corner.

Christian Benteke jostling in the box in anticipation...Hacked away by Dele Alli at the near post.

Crystal Palace v Tottenham (12:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
BBC Radio 5 Live at Selhurst Park

It's a bit of a blow for Spurs to be without Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, what we're hearing on Vertonghen is that he picked up a slight hamstring injury in training this week.

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "In the 11 games still to play there will be lots of twists and turns.

"I am thinking of the day when I will have a full Palace squad to choose from. For now, I am trying to get by with what I have.

"I still think the 11 players who start the game against Tottenham are more than capable."

  17. 'A battle'published at 11:48 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

Crystal Palace v Tottenham (12:00 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino: "It will be a big battle. Roy and his staff are doing a fantastic job.

"We need to match them in the areas of motivation, ready to fight and then of course try to deliver our way and our game.

"Of course it will be very tough. It will be very important to win the three points, fighting for the top four. The three points are massive for us."

Aristotle's Jedi: All this talk about Paul Pogba. If Tiemoue Bakayoko starts United have the game in the bag. Too much focus on the wrong Frenchman!

Tim: What if Paul Pogba is upset mainly because Alexis Sanchez earns way more than him? £500K a week is stupid money, even for football. In theory, Sanchez could buy Pogba after a little over 3 years!

People seem to have forgotten that it was Mourinho himself who first coined the term 'park the team bus in front of the goal' when referring to Spurs.
