    Manchester City

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a difficult game, but as much space there was for us and Arsenal, we did well and controlled the space and I am proud of the team. Winning 3-0 at Wembley is a massive result against any opponent.

"Before the game, I thought I was going to score. I came close during the game so there was some luck on the day, but also self-belief.

"I have been in the game for 15 years and I have been training well and supporting the lads when I don’t play. When I get the call I want to do the job."

  4. 'It didn't happen for Arsenal today'published at 18:27 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Arsenal 0-3 Man City

    Teddy Sheringham
Former Millwall and Tottenham striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It just didn't happen for Arsenal today, but it just shows you what happens when you score the first goal in a cup final. If Arsenal had scored one of their early half chances it could have been different, but Man City got their noses in front and then cruised to victory.

Once Man City got the third goal they knew Arsenal were beaten and they took their foot off the pedal a little bit. Arsenal came back into it a little bit, but they were always in control really.

Steve: Wenger should have played Ozil, no way they'd have lost with him on the pitch.

David Faulkner: Guess Arsenal will have to rely on their league position to achieve their Europa League ambitions for next season.

    Teddy Sheringham

Sergio Aguero has been the star man for me, and the difference between the sides in a dismal cup final. His ability to make space for his teammates, get on the ball and turn defenders has been terrific.

For years it’s Arsenal’s lack of defensive capability that’s held them back. Now they’ve sold their better attacking players too Sanchez, Giroud, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain, creating a team with no goals in it either. Spineless. Weak. Wenger out please. Clueless

Abraham: With this level of rot at Arsenal, I will be surprised if they don't get relegated in the next three years. Wenger has become a disgrace to football. I really feel he is determined to bring down the club before he finally quits.

Helles Mamut: At this rate people will forget that Arsenal ever had successful times under Wenger more than a decade ago... It will be like your grandpa telling you stories of the "good ol' times", sounding like fairy tales...

Andy: I suppose there are some positives for Arsenal, it’s a short journey home and mmm that’s it!! Good luck Thursday.

Wayne Andrews: A small number of Arsenal fans seem to be staying until the final whistle to avoid the rush...

Arsenal finally show some fight as Jack Wilshere is unhappy with Gabriel Jesus not backing off for a free-kick.

Too little, too late I'm afraid. No point acting the hard man now, Jack.

    Arsenal 0-3 Man City

    Teddy Sheringham

Arsenal needed a captain to be a leader for them today, someone like Patrick Vieira to get everyone going, but they just haven't had one today. They've been out ran in a two-horse race, and Man City haven't even been that good today.
