Adam: For all of Guardiola's money spending, and trying to play possession football (which i find tedious and boring), it's City's old guard and spine who turn up and probably win a trophy and Guardiola's first. Kompany and Agüero always performs, props to Pep for keeping them.

Manchester City have been brilliant in the second half. High pressure, high tempo. It’s a simple goal for City as well. Arsenal have been woeful, can’t keep hold of the ball, but give City credit.

    Game over.

    Teddy Sheringham
Former Millwall and Tottenham striker on BBC Radio 5 live

I've come on into games when your side's 3-0 down and it's not enviable. Arsenal have got a mountain to climb now and I'd be very surprised if they can get anything from here. It's another really well worked goal for Man City, they've been patient, found space for David Silva, it's a great turn and what a finish.

Look away Arsenal fans, this is getting ugly.

Intricate play from Manchester City and they get a well-worked third.

Defender Danilo dances across the Arsenal backline and plays it through to David Silva.

The Spaniard has lots to do, but turns Calum Chambers with a majestic move, looks up and drills a low finish past David Ospina.

Ashley: There was no point in Arsenal spending all that money on a striker, when our defence is such a shambles.

Said: Arsenal is an unbalanced team, and against the big teams all the deficiencies come to light.

    Arsenal 0-2 Man City

A very well-worked set piece. The ball is played to the edge of the box, no one was marking Ilkay Gundogan. As the shot comes in Vincent Kompany is the only one who reacts, sticks his leg out and gives the keeper no chance.

Both sides were poor in the first half, but City have stepped it up in the second half.

    Arsenal 0-2 Man City

    Teddy Sheringham
Former Millwall and Tottenham striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Man City have pulled it back towards the edge of the box, Ilkay Gundogan's struck it, and Vincent Kompany has redirected it towards goal. It's a great finish from the defender actually, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Leroy Sane could have interfered with the goalkeeper's line of sight from where he was stood, so they could have gone to VAR, but they haven't.
