  4. Embarrassment for Mustafipublished at 16:58 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

Shkodran Mustafi had his arms out appealing for a foul by Sergio Aguero but it was surely out of embarrassment. It was the merest of physical contact and it was all too much for the Arsenal defender.

Arsenal have been undone by a desperately feeble piece of defending at the very moment they were growing in confidence.

And an assist from City keeper Claudio Bravo with the goal kick. That's how easy it was.

  5. 'Back problem for Monreal'published at 16:57 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

    Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Teddy Sheringham
Former Millwall and Tottenham striker on BBC Radio 5 live

It looks like Nacho Monreal has had a problem for the last few minutes, a small problem with his back. Sead Kolasinac comes on to take his place, and it's a like for like substitution.

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Arsenal defenders are complaining about a nudge, but you play to the whistle.

You can’t give Sergio Aguero that much time. It was a quality finish, he makes it look easy. They let him do what he wants. It’s just a ball down the middle from the goalkeeper, that’s Sunday morning stuff.

Tucker: Mustafi is a pathetic footballer, never mind a defender.

Miracle Roch: This is what Arsenal gets for not coaching their players. Everyone knows Mustafi focuses too much on getting a foul rather than playing.

A bit of argy-bargy from the two managers on the touchline after that Sergio Aguero goal.

Not sure what caused it but there is plenty of pointing and Pep Guardiola is frothing at the mouth.

    Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Teddy Sheringham
Former Millwall and Tottenham striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Of all the footballers on the pitch today, you would not have expected a goal like that. It's route one from the goalkeeper, a little nudge from Sergio Aguero on Shkodran Mustafi, and a very cool finish.

Sergio Aguero nudges Shkodran Mustafi off the ball in a challenge, races through into the box and clips a gorgeous finish over the onrushing David Ospina for the opener.
