Frank Nouble beats the first man but can't get past Serge Aurier. Newport immediately win the ball back from Tottenham - as they continue to show aggression.

That looked a little clumsy from David Pipe as he puts a foot in on Moussa Sissoko but the replays show he got the ball fair and square.

Spurs haven't really got going yet. Newport are putting them under a lot of pressure and winning the 50-50 challenges at the moment.

This is a really bright stat from Newport. Padraig Ahmond was in an offside position but he gets on the end of a wicked cross and his header flies over the bar.

The visitors are giving it a go, that's for sure!

Juan Foyth plays it short to Victor Wanyama and the Spurs player panics. He fouls Joss Labadie - is booked for the challenge - as the Newport captain puts him under pressure and now they have a free-kick in a very nice area...

What a lovely ball from Toby Alderweireld. He picked out Serge Aurier with a diagonal ball across field and it's set up a Tottenham attack.

The supporters are screaming "shoot" whenever the hosts get near the edge of the box...

With a lot of Tottenham fans dressed as empty red seats this evening, it is unsurprisingly the Newport fans making themselves heard.

"Don't take us home, please don't take us home."

It's like the Euros all over again....

Moussa Sissoko plays it through to Son Heung-min but the striker skies it over the crossbar from a tight angle.

This is a good start from Newport. Scott Bennett has been involved lots early on - getting about in midfield and putting a foot in.

Joss Labadie tries the same but fouls Moussa Sissoko.

It's only 65 hours before Tottenham take on Arsenal in this weekend's Premier League derby so they definitely don't want this to go to extra-time.

Newport are pressing high from the off - that suggests they want the game over before then too.

There is no real pressure on Newport County, the only pressure will be from inside their own dressing room. Go and enjoy it, embrace it. Newport County will want to give a good account of themselves regardless of the opposition.
