  2. "We're hoping for an upset"published at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

More from Newport County chairman Gavin Foxall: “Tottenham put out a strong side last time. If they do that tonight, our boys have a lot of belief and with the way they played in the first game certainly in the first half, they will take the game to Spurs.

"You never know, it is 90 minutes of football and with 7,000 people behind them, we are hoping for a bit of an upset.”

  3. "Facing Spurs would be a dream"published at 19:10 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

    Rochdale 1-0 Millwall

Rochdale manager Keith Hill said the chance of facing Tottenham in the fifth round of the FA Cup is the "ultimate dream" after his side edged their fourth-round replay with Millwall.

"My head says let's play Newport, who we would respect, but my heart says let's play Tottenham.

"We would have to play at our very, very best and they would have to have an off day for us to have any chance, but that's the dream."

Rochdale reached the FA Cup fifth round for just the third time in their history with last night's 1-0 victory.

Tottenham are not in the next round yet though...

  4. Huddersfield to face Manchester Unitedpublished at 19:08 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

    Birmingham 1-4 Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield came from behind yesterday to beat Birmingham in extra-time and book a home tie against Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

With the replay locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, the Premier League visitors took command with quick goals from Steve Mounie and Rajiv van La Parra before Tom Ince added a fourth.

Che Adams had fired the Championship side ahead before Town levelled through Marc Roberts' scrappy own goal.

  5. Last night...published at 19:06 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

    Swansea 8-1 Notts County

There were three FA Cup fourth round replays played last night and among them was this absolute thriller.

Swansea, who were held to a 1-1 draw with League Two's Notts County in their first game, didn't hold back the second time around.

They absolutely hammered the visitors at the Liberty Stadium - knocking eight goals past County - and some were real crackers.

Daniel James netted a late goal on his debut, while Tammy Abraham and Nathan Dyer grabbed two goals each.

    Watch all the goals below.

    Newport players walk the pitch

Newport return to Wembley Stadium for the third time in six-years and have made sure they took the time to get used to their surroundings (again).

The players and manager Michael Flynn were on the field for about thirty minutes, presumably looking to take it all in as we get closer to one of the biggest games in their history.

They were understandably awestruck by their surroundings - taking selfies and getting their phones out for some pano shots.

The Tottenham players made their usual route into the changing rooms, stopping to sign a few autographs - but they all had their game faces on.

For the hosts, it's about getting the job done but for Newport it's about creating history.

DMC: 9,000 of us Gooners at Old Trafford to see Giggs miss an open goal before Edu and Wiltord struck. Fergie then walloping a boot into Beckham's face. Halcyon days.

Daniel Stevanto: My favourite FA Cup away day was last season when Huddersfield won 4-0 at Rochdale in the fourth round. Michael Hefele scored twice as a makeshift striker and for the very first time I saw a four-goal away win since I started watching Town in 1994.

  8. A big priority?published at 19:00 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

Welcome to Wembley for tonight’s FA Cup fourth-round replay between Tottenham and Newport County.

The winner heads to Spotland to play Rochdale in the 5th round which is live on 5 Live and BBC One on 18 February.

Yesterday Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was asked if he needs to win a trophy at Tottenham to show for all the progress and hard work:

"No, I don't feel that. Of course, the intention and desire is to win but I am not obsessed to win, win, win, win. We want to win and we need a strong team and a winning mentality.”

Despite that I think if Tottenham make it through, this competition will become a big priority for Pochettino.

They are performing well in the league, unbeaten since mid-December and soon face Juventus in the Champions League but realistically this is their best chance of a trophy.

Lucas Moura won’t feature as he wasn’t registered before the first game in Wales. Sean Rigg won't be playing for Newport because he has quit to become a tattoo artist. True story!

The Newport manager, Michael Flynn joins us shortly on 5 Live for a chat with Mark Chapman ahead of kick off.

BBC Radio 5 live is starting now.

  9. VAR is backpublished at 18:59 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

Tonight’s FA Cup replay marks the first time Tottenham have been involved in a game in which Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will be in use.

Will there be more controversial moments tonight?

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

Unsurprisingly Spurs have rested the big names for a tie they will be expecting to win. But there is still plenty of strength in the home side, notably in the shape of Belgium centre-back Toby Alderweireld who returns for his first appearance since the Champions League win against Real Madrid on 1 November.

England left-back Danny Rose starts for the first time since Boxing Day, while Son Heung-min, Victor Wanyama and Fernando Llorente also play. Insurance on the bench? That comes in the form of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

For Newport, defender Ben White has passed a late fitness test to make the starting line up. That means the same XI which earned the replay have been given the right to complete the job at Wembley (maybe).

Spurs XI: Vorm, Aurier, Alderweireld, Foyth, Rose, Wanyama, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Son, Llorente.

Newport XI: Day, Pipe, White, Demetriou, Butler, Willmott, Tozer, Labadie, Bennett, Nouble, Amond.

  12. Newport's challengepublished at 18:54 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

Newport County are the lowest-ranked team left in the competition but they should not be underestimated - as Tottenham found out a few weeks ago.

Since their 1-1 draw with Spurs, County have suffered back-to-back defeats in League Two but they are still just five points off a play-off spot and they remain competitive in 11th position.

This is the biggest game of their season so they will be giving it everything. Will the players rise or fall on Wembley's biggest stage?

    We will find out shortly...

  13. Spurs bid for glorypublished at 18:52 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

Spurs are the big favourites tonight having won the competition eight times. They are also 75 places above their opponents in the Football League but the magic of the FA Cup is that anything can happen...

It's been 10 years since Tottenham last lifted a major trophy - the League Cup in 2008 - and Mauricio Pochettino was keen to express his disappointment at their last performance against Newport.

He described it as a "missed opportunity" to show they want to win a trophy this season.

Can they get the job done comfortably today and progress through to the fifth round?

Newport County chairman Gavin Foxall, speaking on BBC Radio 5 live: “We’ve got 7,200 fans coming up the M4 which for us as a club is amazing. We only average 3000-3500, so to take that on a Wednesday night up to Wembley is what dreams are made of.

“For a club like ours having a cup run helps us through the closed season and helps us with strengthening the squad and other things around the club, but we would have rather won.

"We were eight minutes away from making history in that respect. Harry Kane probably won’t score an easier goal, but it was a fantastic experience at Rodney Parade."

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

It was some game at Rodney Parade last time out and Newport County were excellent!

They held the lead for over 80 minutes thanks to Padraig Amond's first-half header but it was that man Harry Kane who came to the rescue for Tottenham...again.

He equalised in the 82nd minute but Newport fans weren't too distraught as they were awarded with a trip to Wembley. Not bad, eh?

Lucas Moura is ineligible to play for Tottenham because he had not joined before their initial 1-1 draw, but Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose could return from injuries.

Newport defender Ben White is out with a thigh strain and County will not have Sean Rigg to choose from after he quit full-time football on Monday to pursue a career as a tattoo artist...

  20. What's in store?published at 18:31 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2018

Tottenham v Newport County (19:45 GMT)

So here we are. It's the final game of the FA Cup fourth round.

Tottenham vs. Newport County in a replay at Wembley.

The winners of tonight's game have a blockbuster tie with League One side Rochdale in the fifth round - which will be shown live on BBC One on Sunday, 18 February.

Okay, so Rochdale may not be Manchester City, but it's a good opportunity for the winner to go even further in the competition with that favourable draw.
