It's an interesting game. For the first 20 minutes, apart from one or two moments for Chelsea to be enthused about, Barcelona dominated but didn’t test Courtois at all.

After half an hour though Chelsea have been the better team, with Willian the pick of the bunch by virtue of hitting the post twice.

There is lots for Conte to be pleased about.

An absorbing half - no goals, but played at the speed of a sharpshooter with chances for both sides.

Willian is so desperately unlucky again not to score. You can look at the numbers, Barcelona dominating of course. But Chelsea have gone closer - twice within the width of the post of scoring.

Newms: Seems like the tactical battle is paying off slightly for Chelsea here. Far less possession but I know which keeper has sweatier palms.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is perpetual motion in his technical area - orchestrating almost every move from his players.

And while Barcelona are enjoying possession there is real encouragement for Chelsea.

Eden Hazard and Willian have been a real threat, the latter so unlucky with that shot against the post.

Stamford Bridge was subdued for the visit of West Brom last week. This is a different occasion altogether - a crackling atmosphere inside Stamford Bridge.

This is a high-quality football match.

The past five minutes have been Chelsea after an opening half-hour under the cosh.

Barcelona are having to chase and scramble out of possession, using up energy and effort that could be put to use unpicking the lock on the hosts' goal.

A clean-as-a-whistle connection off the instep, Marc Andre ter Stegen a mere spectator in the Barca goal and the ball thuds off the post with a resounding ding.

That has got the atmosphere bubbling.

Brilliant from Willian. He was surrounded by Barcelona shirts but wriggled out a cul de sac and bursts past three of them, and Rakitic just can’t keep up.

Willian frightened Barcelona. If he turns and runs at people, they will be in trouble.
